Three haha. We had just one for the first 18 months. It was the Chicco bravo that went with our keyfit car seat. And then we went to the beach and needed something smaller because the bravo was not going to fit in the car with the rest of our crap, so we got a chicco liteway. Second kid came along and I wanted to upgrade our main stroller to a double so we got a vista, but kept the bravo because new baby was using the same keyfit car seat. She’s out of that seat now so I’ll be getting rid of the bravo soon. I use both the vista and liteway regularly.

I have a chicco liteway that’s perfect for this. We also have a vista which is great because it’s super comfy, can hold both of my kids if needed, and the basket can hold everything but the kitchen sink. But my baby is 9 months now and I’m starting to use the liteway more for quick trips or outings to the playground where I don’t need to bring much stuff.

Came to say the same! I was gifted a chicco umbrella stroller at my baby shower with my first, fall of 2009. I've used it nonstop over the course of 15yrs (started using it with my 1st around 1yo) with 3 kids + my nephews, and its still in amazing condition!! I've used it to haul groceries, hold 4 HUGE pumpkins we got free at a fall fest, adults have used it as a chair at impromtu beach visits, crazy stuff, and it's still going strong!! Most useful gift I've ever received!! Looks like they're still made the same but with ergonomic handles now. Its called the Chicco Liteway. Not sure which I have and the tag came off so I can't confirm but it looks just like ours.

2, Chicco Bravo and Chicco Liteway. Rarely use the Liteway. The Bravo is just a great all around stroller. Considering getting a Zoe double now that we have 2 kids; my 4 year old still likes to stroll and I would prefer a side by side.

Beware that testing stollers in a shop, with smooth floors is way different than actual conditions of use. One tip, try to avoid 3 wheel strollers, the front wheel sometimes turns 90 degree and locks up. Having used 6 different stollers , I can highly recommend Bugaboo for daily use, and chicco liteway for travel or short outings. I got the bugaboo almost new on ricardo for 300 (np is 1400)

I would register for a convertible car seat. You’ll need a convertible seat for years. You definitely won’t need a removable infant seat beyond December if baby is born in May. Some people use the bucket seats as baby carriers longer, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth beyond the newborn stage IMO. For travel, if you’re going before baby is ~6 months, you could take one of the Chico infant seats. They are FAA approved to install in plane seats, and are really easy to install without a base in rental cars/ubers, so good for travel. You could either borrow a compatible stroller or spend about $100 for a Chicco Liteway travel stroller that the infant seat will snap right into, then use the stroller as your travel stroller without the car seat for the next few years. If you’re going after baby is 6-ish months, I personally like the Cosco Scenera as a travel car seat. Very lightweight, FAA approved and slim enough to fit in bargain barrel airline seats, inexpensive. That plus any decent travel stroller/umbrella stroller will get you through travel for the first couple years (or longer, if you’ve got a petite child).

Have a mockingbird single to double. LOVED it until my oldest was 3.5 and bursting from the seat. I now use a double BOB for neighborhood walks and use a Chicco Liteway for on the go. I liked clicking my car seat into the Mbird for those first couple months, but it’s not a long term workhorse since the seats are so small. I recommend the Chicco travel system (car seat and caddy) and you can and will add more strollers to your arsenal later
