I have 2 strollers for our 17 month old. One is a Bob jogging stroller that I bought new. I love it. It pushes so easy, is great for walks, running, hiking, ect. That being said, it barely fits in the back of my husbands small car, so we can only take it if we are taking the SUV. But that's not really an issue for us. My other stroller is the Chico Bravo Mini that I bought for $50 from FB market place. I bought it when I was going on my first plane ride with baby at 4 month because it would work with my chico carseat. It mostly only gets used for travel, but I don't mind if it gets beat up going through the airplane because I bought it used.

We have the chicco click system with carseat and stroller. The carseat was easy to install and move around as needed—even traveled with it and the base. We had the keyfit 30. When my baby outgrew that we got the gracco extend2fit as a replacement for the carseat. Have loved all of them and they go on sales often. :) you do not need all the social media ones—our baby is just as safe and comfy as all the fancy lil Nuna and Doona babies! And he still loves his chicco stroller!!

i have the chicco bravo quick fold and live in the city and have zero complaints! i live on the second floor and could easily carry the stroller and my daughter down at the same time, even during my first trimester with my second (they’ll have a 17mo age gap). it’s not a jogging stroller so i’m not sure if that’s what you were specifically referring to, but this one in particular has been great! honestly a bit sad that i have to splurge on a double stroller soon and get significantly less use out of my chicco one

We have only one, chicco bravo. It’s full sized and great for all scenarios so far.

I could not stomach the price tag of some of the popular brands. We used Chicco keyfit car seats so went all chicco strollers. We got the bravo system for our first, then when our second arrived we got the Cortina double for them both and the keyfit caddy for a minimal car seat only stroller. My favorite is the keyfit caddy. It’s light and maneuverable. Super easy. The cortina is a beast, so pretty annoying, but necessary if you have two. The bravo was a great city stroller with only one.

I got a hand me down chicco bravo, keyfit carseat, and 2 bases (though it comes with one). The stroller got damaged on its way to me (sad) and I LOVE that i was able to buy a new rear axle to replace the bent one. You can buy almost all the components to fix anything that breaks or that you'd like to have extra of for much of the chicco stroller/seat systems. My sister got the system with her second child and used it for 2 children before passing it to me. I also love that I can just replace the seat between this kid and my next (It'll expire in just under a year) and i already have the rest of the full system. It's also not as crazy expensive as some of these other ones, and i really like that. Though, tbf, if I made *really* good money or happened to have a real hefty savings account I might have gotten one of those strollers that could hold up to 3 kids (with one possibly being a bassinet). But I plan on baby wearing and if need be I can get a 2 seater umbrella stroller at some point.

Yes - we bought a Chicco Bravo for our first child, and we bought a secondhand UppaBaby when we needed a double stroller for Baby #2. There is a very true difference in quality. The Chicco is great in a lot of ways (we still use it sometimes), but the UppaBaby has a much smoother ride and remarkable cargo capacity. I walked the kids to the grocery store every week for a year with it and did all our shopping for a family of 4 using just the cargo basket. Our route took us over uneven sidewalks and train tracks that the wheels of the Chicco definitely could not handle. The UppaBaby cost us $500 secondhand, and it was worth every penny.

r/BabyBumps • Is there really that big a difference between higher end brands e.g. Uppababy vs middle brands e.g. Graco? Looking at strollers. ->

Depends how your going to be using your stroller. If your going to be walking/jogging down that dirt road regularly or be in rural areas a lot, your gonna want some sort of jogger stroller or something with inflatable wheels. If your going to keep it in your vehicle and use it for when your going shopping in the city, going out to eat, and use it for an urban sort of lifestyle, with tad bits of times you walk the stroller on gravel, grass, etc, maybe a good all terrain full stroller with good suspension like Uppababy Cruz, Nuna Mixx Next, Bugaboo Fox 5. If you want something more budget friendly in this category maybe the Chicco Corso or Bravo stroller,Graco Modes Nest 2 grow. Jogger strollers include BabyJogger city mini gt, Thule Urban Glide, Guava Roam, Uppababy Ridge, etc. A carseat is 100% necessary, so no matter what, that should be the 1st thing you look at. Find 1 you like, then look at what strollers its compatible with (usually you might have to buy a separate adapter if you use a different brand of carseat from the stroller). You can always look at what strollers already come as part of a bundled travel system with that carseat. But before you even get started looking at carseats, you need to make a decision ifbyour going to use an Infant Carseat (pill bug looking seats), or a convertible carseat (the big ones that stay in a vehicle), or both.

Just one stroller (Chico Bravo) that we use exclusively at the zoo because of storage space. She turns 4 tomorrow and we have a wagon on her bday list. Hopefully we can be done with the stroller after that lol 🤞

I have a bunch of strollers and two kids! The best feature of any stroller is one hand fold by far. I have a stroller that is built for two kids but it’s clunky to fold up and I can’t do it one handed. It’s also a pain in the ass to get in the trunk. I also have a jogging stroller that I haven’t used in years but it’s great for walking/jogging (obviously). Personally, I would choose a stroller that is a one handed fold, on the lighter side, but is also compatible with your infant seat (if you have one). I have a Chicco infant seat and the Chicco Bravo stroller (one handed fold) and I’d recommend them both. I’ve been using them both for five years and they’re still in good shape! I also have Chicco’s jogging stroller (great but huge and clunky, not for indoors), the Graco Ready2Grow (good for two kids but still big), and the Baby Trend wagon (great for two kids).
