Based on 1 year's data from Feb 18, 2026 How it works
I just picked up a cybex running pushchair off Facebook market place and been out a couple of times now. It rolls really well, and is easy to control. I’m not the fastest of runners anyway, but my pace is slower when pushing (almost goes without saying- altered technique and more weight). Baby loves it, well I think she does, she’s fallen asleep both times. My next goal is parkrun, but my local is very busy and I don’t want to crash into anyone’s ankles!
Baby due in June. We just got the cybex avi spin because we intend to eventually run with him. We just added an Eton s2 seat and adapter and a carry cot s and adapter to make a whole travel system. Figured if we are eventually going to go with a running stroller why not just start with it. It is a bit wide. But it is so smooth and has decent storage. And collapses easy. Will see how it works in a few months in practice though.
Cybex Avi for naptime runs. Lunchtime runs / run commute and then I work in the evenings after bedtime. At the weekend I do lots of running to the playground, stay there for an hour, then run back & toddler naps.
Haben den Cybex AVI Spin & auch die Babyschale von Cybex. Sind sehr zufrieden, der Kinderwagen ist superwendig und toll gefedert.
I got the Cybex full size stroller and used it one day. I completely regretted it. Sold it for a travel stroller but lost some money…never again with the full size.
Mine are 2 and 3 and we have 4 strollers still although we just sold out Vista double this year. We have a Veer XL wagon as well as two Cybex travel strollers. I also have kept our Doona since we plan to have a third baby
I HIGHLY recommend the Cybex travel system. The Balios is a bit more affordable which I love. And they don't require the adapters like most of them do, even Nuna. They are also compatible with a bassinet which is not an expensive add on.
Are you considering more than one kid? We initially had a hand me down peg perego system that we loved but it got damaged on a flight and we got reimbursed its original price. We chose the cybex over the uppababy as our replacement because both seats can hold up to 50lbs
My suggestion if you can is go to a store and try them out. My partner and I were pretty set on a cybex travel system but on trying them out we ended up with a per perego as the fold mechanism and swapping components was more intuitive for us. We also got the isofix base for each car we have and once baby has outgrown the car seat we can just but the next seat without the base that is suitable for bigger children.
