Loved the Cybex eazy twist s2. We loved being able to turn LO around to face us, esp in busy crowded areas like the subway
Loved my Cybex eazy twist 2. The seat is front or back facing, it was great to be able to turn her around in super crowded areas. Also folds down and fits in overhead bins on planes.
We have a Cybex Eezy twist 2 and that’s pretty good but you’d need to buy a bassinet for it to be safe from birth - it does fold small and it does fit easily into my mums boot and she has a Yaris too! There are a lot on Vinted but if you want new you can get them for about £400/500 online
I think it’s just above cabin bag size (we bought it for a holiday but had to put it in the hold as it was slightly too big for cabin) but when it’s folded it’s just like a little box size and it fit in her boot with the parcel shelf in it, which when my travel system is in her boot it’s the same situation at what you’ve described with your nieces and nephews! Plus it’s both parent facing and world facing so that was a big seller for me as I suffer with PPA and like to be able to see my daughter at all times when we’re out and about!
We’ve just got back off holiday and although I love our travel pram (Cybex Eezy twist) I was sooo excited to get back to my Egg! 😂 It’s huge and takes up my entire boot but it handles so well and my little girl always looks very happy in it!
I have an Egg 3 travel system - bassinet that we used until about 4/5 months then moved to the seat once she was more interested about what is going off in the world - we’re planning on using the travel system until she’s around 14/15m (walking comfortably on her own hopefully) The travel system also comes with adapters so I can clip my car seat (Cybex cloud T) onto the pram chassis if baby is asleep and we’re just popping into a shop and will be quick For our travel pram we have the Cybex Eezy twist 2+ - one of the only travel prams that can be parent facing - and we’ve used this for a weeks holiday abroad and it will be going to my mums house when I go back to work after mat leave to be used once or twice a week depending on their plans for the day! Overall I’m very happy with what we purchased and I would recommend going to a baby store or retailer who have lots of brands on display so you can test them out and see what feels good for you!
I’ll be honest, I would consider just having 2! We have an Uppababy Vista which we adore for off roading the big basket, but it is super bulky. We just picked up a second hand Cybex Eezy Twist for travel and in the city. Admittedly, we live in a small town so less of an issue than living in London.
I researched strollers for months when pregnant because work was REALLY slow lol. I love my cybex easy turn. It has big wheels and does well off-road (since I live where there aren’t sidewalks or nice paved roads). It’s small and light enough to be classified as a travel stroller if the big wheels are taken off which is easy. The seat reclines and turns so little one can face you or away. The fold could be done with one hand if you get enough practice but I always end up using two hands. The only downfall is that the buttons can be a bit stiff at times and you need a cybex car seat but I also love my cybex cloud car seat because it has full coverage canopy and reclines fully as well though it is a bit heavy.
I am in Europe and it depends where you go. For travelling with my four months old I got cybex eezy twist cause I wanted bigger wheels and parent pacing as well as lie flat. Now that she is older I might get a butterfly or an aer plus but I am worried about cobblestone. These are good for a car tho, if you travel without one a bigger stroller might make sense so you have space underneath.
I travelled with my 4 months old and did extensive research on this. You are lucky cause the joolz aer plus just came out with a parenr facing seat that is perfect for this age! It looks amazing. I got a cybex eezy twist and it worked well for us but it’s kind if a hybrid. The larger wheels worked well for our destination.
Another option I have seen used is a cybex eezy twist. You can use it parent facing and it lies flat so ok from newborn, and then twist it and put it upright for 3 years old. I have done just that with my baby and her cousin. The new bugaboo butterfly lies flat and goes upright plus you can buy a newborn nest for it.
