I did not go with Uppababy because my friend had it and it was huge. I am 5’ 2” and on the go a lot and wanted luxury but not giant. I initially went with the Cybex Priam but it also felt very large lugging in and out of the car by myself. The way it doesn’t technically latch made it awkward to maneuver. We were doing some traveling so I got a Cybex Libelle for the fold but it wasn’t great for under 1 because it didn’t lay flat for nap, so then we tried the Cybex Coya. We took it on to vacation in Hawaii and I LOVED the fold and look, but the seat doesn’t sit fully upright (similar to Bugaboo Butterfly) so my son hated sitting in it. We then bought the Nuna TRVL LX - different than regular TRVL and we love it! It has a one hand fold, decent size basket, nice sturdy bar and lays flat for nap time. I wish I would have purchased this one from the get go for my on the go/trvl stroller since the nuna car seats pop right on it for infants. Given I realized how important size is, if I were to do this all over again… I would have gone with a Nuna Triv OR Cybex Gazelle as my luxury stroller for something with a bassinet and then the TRVL LX for our on the go stroller.

I’ve had the YoYo for two years now and it’s my go-to everyday stroller. I also have the Cybex Libelle 2 which I keep in my car. I think it glides pretty smoothly- I don’t notice any rickety sound (unlike the Libelle) That’s actually one of the reasons I love. A couple of caveats though. For how expensive it is, it doesn’t come with any accessories, no cup holder or anything but you can always get a cheap stroller caddy and stroller clips from Amazon. All the YoYo branded accessories are ridiculously overpriced. Also, if you purchase the footmuff (it’s pricey but I recommend it for the winter) it will make it difficult to fold, not impossible but you do need to force it a little. Lastly, it doesn’t not fold as easily for me as it does in the videos at all. And for reason the canopy is forever detaching itself when I open it, so it’s definitely not a one-handed motion. All that said, I love how compact and small it folds down. My girl is 2.5 and I’ll be sad when she outgrows it, but I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. Btw don’t know where you’re shopping, but I got a really good deal on mine (open box) from GoodBuy Gear. I think I paid $100-150 under retail price

we bought a travel stroller (cybex libelle) and a big stroller (nuna triv next) - ended up using the travel stroller like, 99% of the time. Big stroller just sits in the garage now and we use it for walks around the block but for everything that requires actually going in a car, we use the travel one

If you’re considering the UPPAbaby Minu V3, definitely check out the Ergobaby Metro+ 3. They’re very similar, but the Metro+ 3 is $350 compared to $550 for the Minu. You can usually find a 15% off coupon with a quick Google search, and Ergobaby offers 20% off for teachers, nurses, and military. I was torn between the two, but after watching a million reviews, I realized the Minu V3 didn’t offer anything the Metro+ 3 didn’t—at least not anything that justified the extra $200. I’ve taken the Metro+ 3 out a few times and it pushes great—smooth and easy to steer one-handed. The basket holds over 20 lbs, the seat sits very upright (a must for my baby), and it also fully reclines for newborns. The ventilation is better than on the Minu, which was a top priority for me since we live in a warm climate. It has a one-handed auto-fold (huge win!), and while the unfold isn’t quite as smooth, I’ve still managed it one-handed. I also got the bumper bar since my baby loves holding onto those. One of my favorite features: it fits behind the driver’s seat of my Prius! That was a big deal because our main stroller—the Cybex Gazelle—takes up the entire trunk. Before this, I had the Cybex Libelle (open-box from goodbuybaby.com). It was fine—super compact and came with a car seat adapter—but I didn’t love that it didn’t sit upright and had no peekaboo window. I wouldn’t have paid $300 for it, but I got it for $150 and sold it for $100 after one trip when my baby was 5 months old. Now that my baby is using the stroller seat more, I wanted something more comfortable and better quality—and the Metro+ 3 has totally delivered.

We just completed our trip in November with our 14 turned 15 month old on the trip. Depending on personality, toddlers can be easy travelers. Ours never fussed, and did well sleeping in our Cybex Libelle 2 stroller and in the baby carrier. A LOT of locals had the same if not similar strollers we noticed and many used baby carriers too. Happy to answer more questions if you have since we just completed our trip. We also utilized the Tokyo Chapter blog to read up before we went. We stayed in Tokyo and Kyoto and found kid friendly accommodations in both cities, while also easily finding places to eat. We kept expectations low, and recognized we may have to head back earlier for naps or change our restaurant destinations depending on little one’s hunger. Don’t let others scare you from traveling with your kid, if you have the time and money do it, life’s short. There are plenty of kiddo’s around in Japan of various ages, some behave great and some cry too which may shock many on Reddit. Japan has babies and they do cry! If the country wasn’t child friendly you wouldn’t find kid accommodations so easily.

100% worth it for me because a jogging stroller enables me to run without relying on someone else watching baby. It allows me to take baby on a run while my husband gets some quiet time. It allows him to take baby on a run so I get quiet time. It allows us to go running at the same time. It just gives us so much more flexibility when we’re both trying to prioritize exercise! I used the single so much that a double jogging stroller stroller was on my “must have” list when we had our second. I still use the single to take one kid with me sometimes. I’ve routinely done 7 or 8 miles as my max with my single jogging stroller. The kid will usually fall asleep and that distance gets them about an hour long nap, and if I push further towards a 90min run my kids have always started to get pretty restless. 4 miles is about my max with a double jogging stroller when I’m taking both my kids because that thing is so much heavier to push. The jogging strollers are great for walks too. Where I think they fall short is when you’re going somewhere where you don’t want to take up a bunch of space because jogging strollers are massive. Like if I need to take a stroller inside anywhere, a jogging stroller is not the answer. They’re also big/heavy and it’s a hassle to get them in/out of cars. My ideal stroller setup is one jogging stroller and one compact travel stroller (we have a Cybex Libelle). The jogging stroller gets the most use, but the travel stroller is great for indoors or shorter distances.

We have the Cybex libelle, folds up super small and fits in the overhead bin. Our baby is about 3 months old though and we have the Cybex infant car seat so the libelle comes with adaptors for the Aton infant car seat We bought our travel stroller on FB marketplace if that helps with managing costs! You’re only going to use it a few times any ways I imagine (not as frequently as your primary stroller) so could be a better route

We have a travel stroller and a vista 2. About to buy a different travel stroller because the one I got sucks for airports. We have a cybex libelle. It was horrible in the airport because we couldn’t attach her carrier to it, however it was really nice for being on a cruise. It has good handling and it works really well in tight spaces. We’ll keep it for when we’re cruising. I’m going to get the Uppa baby minu for airport travel and for my mom and aunt to use. They’re not fans of how bulky the vista is and the libelle doesn’t recline. I love the vista for theme parks and when we go out in larger groups since we have all the attachments. Like you I keep that in the car for when we go out. It’s the best for farmers markets and going to the mall! I can fit everything in it, plus I have the cooler so I can keep things cold too. Not having the mesh peakboo is one of the many reasons I didn’t like the libelle. For me it’s a big deal. I probably wouldn’t have gotten a Greco because from my experience their products tend not to be worth it. They’re not that much cheaper that other brands and the things I’ve gotten from that brand have all had to be replaced for various reasons. I have learned the hard way that with baby products a lot of times you get what you pay for. We want to have more children, so for me I don’t see an issue with having multiple strollers for different purposes because I know we’ll use them for many years.

I bought a second hand Nuna Pipa car seat and Nuna Mixx stroller off fb marketplace. The combo was great when my son was in an infant car seat and we just clicked it into the stroller. Great. When he grew out of the infant car seat and was just using the stroller is when it all went downhill. The stroller by itself is sooooo heavy, clunky, and complicated! My baby screams like there’s no tomorrow when I try to buckle him in and please tell me why the buckling has so many parts? Also unless you drive a Yukon and have a truck the stroller will take up your entire trunk space. We bought a cybex libelle travel stroller and literally never looked back. It lightweight, folds up so tiny and even comes with adapters for an infant car seat like the nuna. 90% of the time we use a stroller now, we use the Cybex. We only use the Nuna for occasional walks or if we’re going somewhere without smooth terrain
