We took our Cybex Libelle 3 vs our larger Nuna stroller. With the carrier clips, going through the airport was a breeze. The ability to make the libelle compact is unmatched. We attached a beach chair strap to the handles and it was super easy to carry the baby and have the stroller over our shoulders. We used the metro exclusively without issue.
Awesome! Thank you, I'm 1 month away from a 2 month trip we'll be using the cybex libelle stroller as well. It's my current daily for trips to the mall and just about anywhere else. I had an off brand cabin size stroller for my older kid, but the cybex folds down soo much smaller side by side.
We have a cybex libelle and it is awesome, thats the only word to describe it. My favorite part is that it can take car seat adapters
3 kids over the past 8 years. Newest one is an infant right now. Baby carrier im still using, although no longer being manufactured new - stokke mycarrier front carrier. It has superb back support and doesn't leave me sore, I use it when shopping or on outings to be free of the stroller. Next, mamas & papas Ocarro stroller, 8 years later, well used and still looks fabulous. My only gripe would be that its a bit heavy at 13kg and takes car boot space, but I only use it when with my husband and it fits our vehicles. I can still lug it around if I really have to. It drives like butter. Joie camp cot is on baby 2, I like that it held up well in storage. We had a wooden cot-to-bed for our oldest, and he used and abused it lol! Lots of jumping. My husband cut and reused the bed base panels to make him a table for his Lego sets. Youngest got a new car seat as the previous one expired after 7 years. We currently use a cybex car seat with the cybex libelle stroller for daily use, and for upcoming travel the stroller is cabin size. I used a bumbo multi seat for my oldest and he very quite happy with it, youngest gets a maxi cosi high chair im still going to test out since the bumbo is not going anywhere near my new kitchen chairs. I really like bumbo products though, we also used the toilet seat for potty training and it was reported back as being soft and comfy lol. Also invest in some wooden heirloom toys, look at waldorf inspired wooden sets. My kids LOVE ours and we've gotten years of play out of them, im looking forward to more years ahead. Gem stone blocks, colored glass blocks, stacking rainbows and hills, loose parts, peg dolls, funny wooden cars, stumpy trees. So fun.
I don't have experience with any of those strollers but we went on a trip to Portugal when my daughter was 1.5 years old and I bought the Cybex Libelle and loved it! It was small enough to fold up in restaurants, fit in the overhead bin, super light to carry in a bag, but also nice enough to ride on the cobblestone sidewalks. I went to look it up and it's on sale right now!! [Cybex Libelle](https://joylink.io/magic-black-stroller)
Cybex libelle! Folds down smaller than a rollaboard suitcase
cybex libelle ultra compact stroller but still super smooth push for a little stroller. husband is 6’2 as well and the handle is a little low for him but it wasn’t a big deal for us. basket isn’t huge but the handle bar has these hook things so you can hang bags easily
absolutely LOVE the cybex libelle!! it folds to be incredibly compact and for a small stroller, it actually has a surprisingly smooth push. tested in the streets of chicago, tokyo, LA and taipei and it continues to hold up incredibly well
we had the nuna mixx next and also ended up using our cybex libelle (which we bought for travel) as our main stroller!
If you’re considering the UPPAbaby Minu V3, definitely check out the Ergobaby Metro+ 3. They’re very similar, but the Metro+ 3 is $350 compared to $550 for the Minu. You can usually find a 15% off coupon with a quick Google search, and Ergobaby offers 20% off for teachers, nurses, and military. I was torn between the two, but after watching a million reviews, I realized the Minu V3 didn’t offer anything the Metro+ 3 didn’t—at least not anything that justified the extra $200. I’ve taken the Metro+ 3 out a few times and it pushes great—smooth and easy to steer one-handed. The basket holds over 20 lbs, the seat sits very upright (a must for my baby), and it also fully reclines for newborns. The ventilation is better than on the Minu, which was a top priority for me since we live in a warm climate. It has a one-handed auto-fold (huge win!), and while the unfold isn’t quite as smooth, I’ve still managed it one-handed. I also got the bumper bar since my baby loves holding onto those. One of my favorite features: it fits behind the driver’s seat of my Prius! That was a big deal because our main stroller—the Cybex Gazelle—takes up the entire trunk. Before this, I had the Cybex Libelle (open-box from goodbuybaby.com). It was fine—super compact and came with a car seat adapter—but I didn’t love that it didn’t sit upright and had no peekaboo window. I wouldn’t have paid $300 for it, but I got it for $150 and sold it for $100 after one trip when my baby was 5 months old. Now that my baby is using the stroller seat more, I wanted something more comfortable and better quality—and the Metro+ 3 has totally delivered.
