I have the uppababy vista and the jeep power glide. The difference is so noticeable. the vista is smooth af. It also has a lot of storage space underneath. I would use it all the time but we take the jeep to baseball games since it folds up really small and fits underneath the stands. But when we sit in the grass we’ll take the uppababy. I also like that it grows with your family. We’re planning on having our second soon and it can carry a toddler seat and a newborn car seat at the same time. Or you can have two toddler seats and they sell the extra padding to fit a smaller baby in it.
We have 3. The one we use the most is the uppababy vista. We got a jeep powerglyde because we go to a lot of baseball games and that one folds nicely under the seats. We also have a jeep scout double stroller because my friend has a baby one month older than mine and we babysit her frequently enough to use a double stroller. I think I have 3 due to unique circumstances but I’m sure you could get away with one
I will say if you can either try something out/look at it in person first, or get it either free or used for cheap, I would do that. We’ve tried so many and none feel perfect. We got a used Uppababy Vista with all the bells and whistles for cheap. It has been extremely modular, allowing us to click in the car seats, or newborn bassinets, or regular seats. It is also huge, heavy and not very portable. We got a snap n go for free and used it once, because it is huge and difficult to maneuver. We have a free Babyjogger City Mini and it’s also quite a beast. And a tiny jeep umbrella one that has no storage. I’ve been eyeing the Zoe Twin in my ongoing search to find our ideal double stroller…
If you turn the lids too tightly, the “seal” will crack and they’ll leak forever. There’s no fix. People think tighter is better, but for Dr. Browns it’s the opposite. Snug, but easily undone. I encourage parents to invest in a bottle washer (In like the momcozy brand). It sterilizes & dries them as well saving a ton of time. It’ll pay for itself (especially if they’re going to have more that one kid) and you don’t need to get a separate sterilizer for the infant bottles. I love the Dr. Browns, they are my most recommended and are fantastic for kids with reflux, gas pain etc. I love the uppa baby stroller system - it works great for me! The best umbrella stroller I’ve used was by Jeep of all things and I’m not sure they make them anymore. Obsessed with the Snoo baby crib/thingy. There’s probably more but current baby is getting yelly.
