Highly recommend a Graco jogging travel system (I think I have Graco Trax 2.0). We do not live on a farm but walk a lot on trails and it's held up for over a year. Very smooth/easy to push over rougher surfaces in comparison to non-jogging strollers.

I’d personally get something like the Graco trax 2.0 Jogger Travel System, but they have other models. They are made with bigger wheels which are great for terrain. I’m in Canada and bought the Evenflo jogger but they are similar!

Everything you described sounds a lot like my lifestyle. We got the Graco Trax 2.0 Jogger Travel System.

Farm? I would look into the graco modes jogger. 3 wheels is infinitely better for anything gravel imo unless you don’t think you’ll ever use it at home

r/BabyBumpsCanada[bc] anyone have this stroller/system?

I have a bumbleride indie and it rides like butter compared to the graco jogger I had. I did like the cheap graco for the airport though

Graco is awesome. Durable. And I love how I can swivel on a dime with my jogger modes style stroller. And where do you educate at that you’re 6 figures???

Used for almost everything, the only thing worth splurging on is a BOB. Everything other than a jogging stroller is the same basic design. The move is to buy them used/cheap as possible, then you can buy multiple strollers that each meet a certain need for the same price as a new “jack of all trades” stroller that won’t be. We have a BOB all terrain (the big purchase, because we run with him) and then an ultra compact one for travel, we also had what was essentially a Graco cart that his car seat clipped into (but didn’t have a seat otherwise) for when he was <1 year.

Controversial opinion: don’t get 1 do it all stroller. Get several “specialty” strollers, optimized for a specific purpose and buy them used/cheap (unless you have 1 type you want to splurge on). Example: We bought a used graco click-lock that worked with his car seat. It lived in the car. We did some travel, so bought a significantly cheaper knock-off version of the Bugaboo Butterfly. Finally, we wanted a really good jogging stroller so splurged on a Bob All-terrain. Had an adapter for the car seat until he outgrew it. All three of those combined NEW (even if you max out with the BOB All-terrain Pro) come out to less than the Bugaboo Fox 5. And you may not need all of those and/or can buy in stages.

We did graco quick connect car seat and jogging stroller. Worked well for our two kids.

r/BabyBumpsBudget vs. High End Strollers: has anyone ACTUALLY used both that can help me explain these massive price differences?

When I got pregnant with my son we were gifted a Graco jogger stroller travel system. I hated that thing, it wouldn’t turn for crap and the infant car seat carrier had almost nothing to support his head. Once we started trying for a second baby I found an Uppababy vista with accessories for two kids for $500 and pulled the trigger. I love it and wish I would have gone with that from the start.

All I know is we got a Graco jogging stroller travel system 9 years ago for my first child on sale for $450 and the stroller is still going strong. Used for two children and will be used for a third this summer. I would say the super expensive ones are maybe worth it if you get it for your first and know you'll use it for multiple children. Considering I have basically no complaints about my cheaper stroller, I don't know if I see the point of a high end stroller otherwise.

2, the Graco jogger travel system which we love but not for stores/shopping, we use it for walks or outdoor outings and are on baby #2 with it. Stroller #2 is the Graco ready2jet, super compact, the car seat still clicks in and it’s great for stores and just general bombing around. We are on baby #2 with this setup and it’s great.

We are on baby #2 with our Graco jogger stroller and Graco ready 2 jet compact stroller. The carseat clicks into both and they both accommodate my 3 year old well. The jogger has been on frequent walks for 3 years now including the rough dirt road at our cabin, it’s great. My first absolutely hated the infant car seat so we ended up transitioning him out of the infant seat early, so grateful we didn’t spend an arm and a leg on the infant seat but it still worked just fine for 2 kids.
