Graco - Modes Nest Travel System

For my first, I bought the Graco Modes Nest travel system. It was an ok, did the job, but I would not recommend the stroller if you do lots of walking. It was fine in grocery stores, malls, etc, but not sidewalks. After baby was able to sit up and use the stroller without bassinet/carseat I purchased a jogging stroller and NEVER looked back. I love my jogging stroller as someone who walks a lot. So much easier to maneuver and push. Definitely a smoother ride too. Unfortunately, I do not have a jogging stroller/carseat combo that I would recommend because I (sadly) didn't go that route, but if I had to redo, I would start my search there.

I absolutely love the Graco modes nest. Loved the bassinet option. Being able to turn it facing me or away. It was a travel system. Not crazy expensive and it lasted

We have this as well and I recommend it to everyone. Super sturdy and came with the stroller, bassinet/toddler seat, car seat, and car seat base. I love that it has a cupholder too!

We have the Graco modes nest travel system and have been happy with it! The stroller seat converts to a bassinet which was great for when he was a newborn. There only thing I wish it had was one hand fold, but there’s only been a time or two I’ve really wished for it. But it’s super easy to use and has held up really well over the past 6 months and we are NOT gentle on it, lol. I love that the car seat it comes with has a single button to adjust the handle rather than having to push both sides. It usually runs about $320 but I think we got it on sale at Target for less than $300?

Go on Fromrebel if you’re into cyber deals. Target too! I bought the Graco Modes Nest Travel System. I LOOOOOOVE LOVE LOVEEE it! I grab the stroller peice out the trunk, snap my baby (6M) carseat on top and roll out!

I have the Graco Modes Nest travel system and I love it!! I feel like Graco is just a good trustworthy brand and you get a lot for what you pay for compared to a lot of other strollers. we used the pramette feature all the time and love that we can connect the car seat in the stroller so easily. My only downside is that thing is chunky as heck and takes up so much room in our sedan trunk:/

Toys R Us. I have the same stroller and I like it. I definitely put a lot of stress into finding the right stroller but what you're describing is a unicorn. We don't rely on our stroller, we just use it for fun/outings, but I really like it. It's bulky (but smooth and spacious) and certainly doesn't open or close one handed.

I spent months researching various travel systems and settled on the Graco Modes Nest 3-in-1 stroller + car seat + base. I've gotten so many compliments on it! Best features are: - glides very smooth - big wheels that can handle grass in addition to smooth surfaces - folds up small - great height (I'm short and husband is tall, it's comfy to push for us both) - huge under stroller storage basket Literally $399 and wayyyy better than the other options that cost more. Additionally, I did a bunch of bargain shopping and FB marketplace and asked for hand-me-downs. We have a $200 Graco swing that we found on FB marketplace for $25. Most things can be cleaned/sanitized. There's no shame in being a thrifty mom. Splurge where you really need but save anywhere you can.

Just went through stroller buying journey also due in December! Ended up getting the Graco Nest Mode 3-in-1 (it was on sale so cheaper than the pramette) . My advice is once you've done as much internet research as you can handle, just go to a couple of stores to test them out (Snuggle Bugz / West Coast Kids for the higher end ones, Babies R Us for the more affordable ones). I found this subreddit swears by Uppababy and recommends used to stay budget friendly but I didnt find Graco to be as bad as the internet made sound. Testing in store will really help you figure out what feels the best to you.

We were there not long ago - don’t feel the need to go all out on everything. We opted for the Graco modes nest travel system, which was about $700 on sale for stroller & infant car seat, and was a little nicer than some of the entry level Graco travel sets (Rubberized wheels vs plastic, a bit lighter, etc). It’s so so easy to spend a ton of money trying to get the best of everything, but I’d recommend prioritizing what’s most important to you and investing there, and where you can go with more inexpensive options.

Honestly, no complaints! Easy secure installation of the car seat, the stroller itself handles well, even through some snow and slush. Pretty quick to open/close. We plan on walking a fair amount as the weather gets better, so TBD on longevity, but as of now I’m fairly confident it will do what we need it to do! If you’re someone who walks nearly everywhere, or looking to jog/run with it, it may be worth a higher end model, but for our uses I’d make the same decision again.
