Need to chime in with some love for Graco products. We were gifted a Graco modes pramette stroller and snugride car seat plus a couple car seat bases. I then bought us a Graco Ready2Jet travel stroller for our plane rides and I love how the car seat can click into the stroller. My baby is on the tall side so I’ve already leveled up and gotten a Graco Turn2Me convertible car seat for my car. I also bought a Graco Premier Modes Merge stroller as our main stroller off of an overstock website so it was like $300 instead of $400, and if I were to do it over again I would have started with that line of travel system (includes the car seat) because it feels really high end for probably half the price of the actual high end brands.
r/NewParents • Car Seats and Strollers ->Seconding Graco! Specifically the ready2jet stroller lives in our car and doesn’t take up too much space.
r/NewParents • Stroller that’s easy for going out & about with just mom and baby ->Graco ready2jet. Again and again
r/Buyingforbaby • Best reclining travel stroller? ->I just unpacked my Ready2Jet and it seems like a great stroller. It’s about 4 lbs lighter than my old stroller and the handle is great for tall people.
r/Buyingforbaby • Stuck on travel strollers ->We just traveled with my 90th percentile (height/weight/head) 11 month old. We got the graco ready2jet from Costco and it did really well for us. We now use it when trunk space is limited or it’ll be tight where ever we are going.
r/bigbabiesandkids • Best compact travel stroller for big baby? ->I (very recently) have three: a regular stroller, a travel stroller, and a jogger. We have the mockingbird with the bassinet attachment, which we used until she got too long for it (around 3.5 mo). I bought it off fb from a mom who bought it thinking she’d walk a lot, but decided it was too cold. We also used the bassinet attachment on a stand and it was her bedside bassinet until she moved to her crib. We walked a lot and it’s still great with the rumble seat. When she was 3-ish months I bought the Graco Ready2Jet bc I knew we had a lot of travel coming up. I LOVE that thing. It’s so light compared to the mockingbird and my graco car seat clicks right in. I use it when I am shopping now, and we’ve taken it on flights, all over hawaii, and now all over japan. It’s the best. And last week, I picked up a secondhand jogger so my husband and I can take her on runs. She honestly still looks tiny in it, but it’s nice (for a well-used stroller). I will say, it’s wayyy harder to steer than my other strollers, and it’s HUGE—like, it seems wayyy bigger than my mockingbird. We’ll likely only use it to go running.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->Graco snugride (or any graco car seat) and the graco ready2jet. Car seat snaps into stroller w no attachments, stroller folds up small and light, and when baby gets bigger the stroller can be used as a toddler stroller. Also comes with a cup holder. For a diaper bag, either a tote with pouches or a backpack with NO flap over top— you want to be able to open and shut it one handed
r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->We went with the BOB Allterrain so can’t speak to those two strollers specifically but we love the jogger- we’ve even taken it golfing. Just popping in to say I would absolutely still plan to get a smaller stroller for travel. We do frequent indoor spaces a little more frequently and for shopping, so I actually have three strollers 🙃 (important to note, I only paid full price for our travel stroller, the other two we got at KILLER deals otherwise I think my husband would leave me for having 3 lol). We have an Uppababy Cruz for day to day and then the Graco Ready2Jet for traveling - it’s light weight, folds easily, and has a decent under basket - not as big as the uppa or bob but still good enough and much easier to travel with. We got it from Costco for like $100. The jogging stroller is so big even when folded and takes up a majority of the trunk space in my jeep. It would be a pain IMO for air travel and I would be very annoyed losing half of my cargo space on road trips.
r/fitpregnancy • FTM Jogging Stroller Help - Thule Urban Glide 3 or Uppababy Ridge ->We ended up just buying the Graco Ready2Jet. We didn’t want to travel with our nice Nuna stroller and car seat. Rather have a $200 stroller car seat combo get beat up by air travel.
r/NewParents • Any recommendations for Strollers that are good for air travel? ->Never tried to. We gate checked it both ways which worked great.
r/NewParents • Any recommendations for Strollers that are good for air travel? ->The Graco Ready to Jet is a nice budget stroller. It's much flimsier than the Minu though and doesn't fold or push nearly as nicely. If you don't need the Minu for flying it's a great choice for basic getting around town. I will say that the two in store we tried were both busted so I would be worried about longevity. But for $75 who cares about it breaking.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I'm a huge massive fan of the little Graco travel stroller I just got from Costco. We had a heavy convertible/jogging stroller that was completely unnecessary. Heck. The travel one we just got even works with a graco infant carseat. True, the heavy stroller helped us get "strong" for hauling around kids all day, but that'll happen anyways. It's a "Ready2Jet". Even folds up for overhead compartments in an airplane. All that said, it doesn't have half the features you want... But... We almost never used most of the features you're looking for, ourselves. No rubber wheels (foam based), no parent facing lie flat (but does parent facing with the infant seat attached). Super lightweight, one hand fold/unfold, surprisingly good basket for a light stroller, and actual 4 wheel suspension (most don't have that).
