Really consider your lifestyle and budget before purchasing. We bought two for convenience (and honestly just got a good deal during the Target sale) but we did not buy one of the most expensive brands. We got the Evenflo Pivot which will be the main one that stays with my husbands since we are likely to do long outings and traveling all together. It has the added bassinet. I have the Graco Verb which is just an infant seat to toddler stroller but I likely will just take her to appointments/daycare and plan on baby carrying more often when out. I paid less than the Evenflo base and seat for the stroller which I am fine with since infant car seats are short-term anyway.
You don't have to go for the most high end system. I'm on my second kid and still getting a ton of use out of our Graco Verb travel system. We've put in hundreds of miles on the stroller. I waited to get a double stroller until I had my second but we barely use the second seat. My first started walking everywhere around 2 and now at 3.5 almost never wants to sit. My only regret is not getting something with Greenguard certification or whatever as we think more about what touches our kids' skin everyday. We have a forward facing Chicco carseat for our preschooler that is Greenguard. Still, we all can only do so much without going completely crazy looking at carseat chemicals and microplastics so it's a balance.
I got a graco too, the verb, and I tried a bunch of different brands! The prices of the other brands is just ridiculous to me, these things are going to take a beating but a car seat and stroller for $200 who cares if you end up needing another. It folds super easy, is lightweight, has most of the features the others charge extra for like cup holders. I figure I might need a burlier tire stroller in the future but to start I think the graco seems perfect.
I recommend finding a store you where you can check them out for yourself. I went to target and ended up settling on the Graco Verb Connect. I hate shopping online, so it was nice to test them out in person, we still ended up buying off the website because I had a color preference not available in store.
I did so much research on this and was exhausted after going to multiple stores to try out different one. Ended up getting the [Graco verb](https://www.target.com/p/graco-verb-click-connect-travel-system-with-snugride-infant-car-seat-pink-black/-/A-92644331) for about $200. Very happy with it. I was about to drop $500-$1000 and then came across this. I’m sure those other luxury ones are nice, but this one has been great. I’ve done everything from traveling with it, to daily runs. It’s does amazing for the price.
Graco has never failed me for car seats and strollers. there's no way I was going to spend $500+ on the infant seat and stroller when they're only in it for a few months. we got Graco verb click system (infant seat and stroller) and then the extend2fit 3-in-1 convertible car seat. it converts to a booster seat later on. it's also got the highest maximum rear-facing weight I'm pretty sure. rear facing for as long as possible is the safest choice.
