Love the guava, use it almost daily for the past two years on some pretty rough terrain and it has held up. Airless tires are the best.

We had the Chicco cleartex infant seat and now have the Chicco cleartex rotating seat and love it! If you decide to go with a jogging stroller, we are obsessed with our Guava stroller! Have used it twice a day for over a year and it is still good as new!

We have the Guava and love it! We had the car seat attachment as well and it worked out great for us. It’s supposedly the smallest of the jogging strollers, and it does fold up nice and neat, but it’s still quite heavy and cumbersome to fold and carry around, so we still ended up getting a compact travel stroller (a Zoe), especially because I don’t think the Guava would be practical for air travel. Just want to point out that you definitely don’t have to get more than 1 stroller to start! You can always get a jogger and see how it works for you, and then add a travel stroller if you feel you need it later. If I had to pick just 1, I’d definitely pick the Guava over our travel stroller for everyday use though.

We have the yoyo which I keep in my car almost always in case we need it, and travel with it. We used it as our only stroller for maybe 9-12 months and then got the guava roam because I wanted to be able to walk in the woods and unpaved bike path. The yoyo still works almost always and I love that it’s small enough to keep in the car, but on our daily walks we use the guava one now. I’m definitely super happy to have both!! Can’t see the need for more than two though.

You can buy a stroller frame that's essentially a car seat holder on wheels for very cheap. There are lots of options.  For myself, I love the Guava stroller for easy travel and slightly more amenities. It comes with a car seat adapter for newborns. Honestly don't bother with the bassinet.

Depends how your going to be using your stroller. If your going to be walking/jogging down that dirt road regularly or be in rural areas a lot, your gonna want some sort of jogger stroller or something with inflatable wheels. If your going to keep it in your vehicle and use it for when your going shopping in the city, going out to eat, and use it for an urban sort of lifestyle, with tad bits of times you walk the stroller on gravel, grass, etc, maybe a good all terrain full stroller with good suspension like Uppababy Cruz, Nuna Mixx Next, Bugaboo Fox 5. If you want something more budget friendly in this category maybe the Chicco Corso or Bravo stroller,Graco Modes Nest 2 grow. Jogger strollers include BabyJogger city mini gt, Thule Urban Glide, Guava Roam, Uppababy Ridge, etc. A carseat is 100% necessary, so no matter what, that should be the 1st thing you look at. Find 1 you like, then look at what strollers its compatible with (usually you might have to buy a separate adapter if you use a different brand of carseat from the stroller). You can always look at what strollers already come as part of a bundled travel system with that carseat. But before you even get started looking at carseats, you need to make a decision ifbyour going to use an Infant Carseat (pill bug looking seats), or a convertible carseat (the big ones that stay in a vehicle), or both.

We have the Guava stroller. It’s a single. We used it with the attachment for the car seat when she was an infant and now use it almost daily at 2 years old. It has held up well. It’s good for more rough terrain. I think it looks like a cross between a jogger and a stroller.

We got the guava roam and we have loved it so far. It folds up nicely, even though the wheels are giant.

In my opinion, yes! We also have the guava roam for when she’s old enough. I prefer a jogging stroller, but I felt like we needed a regular stroller for daily use for shopping and other things, especially with a bassinet feature.

I cannot in good faith steer you away from the guava roam. I have tried a few different ones when I was a nanny and it’s by far the best in my experience if you plan on using it often.

I can’t speak for the Urban Glide but I’m also a runner and use the Guava Roam stroller for both running and everyday use. It has airless wheels so they never pop or need to be pumped and it’s a very smooth ride, even on rough terrain. Also fits fine in supermarket aisles and stores. I don’t use it on the bus or subway though, I need to get a travel stroller for that.

I trained for the NYC marathon in both 2024 and 2025 with the Guava Roam. Up until my daughter was about 9 months, I used the car seat adapter with a Nuna car seat. She’s now 20 months and it’s the only stroller we’ve had since she was born. But we never took it in a cab or on the subway, too heavy. Used the baby bjorn when we flew to California and rented a stroller when we got there. But she’s too big for that now and I just had to buy a travel stroller for our January trip.

Sadly it doesn't exist but the Guava Roam is about the most compact/light jogging stroller you are gonna find. If you buy the travel bag, it should be easy and safe enough to gate check it.
