We have an ikea crib and ingenuity bassinet (which is LARGE!! we loved this for our daughter who was always 95% percentile in length. She was able to stay in bassinet until 5 months. Clek liing infant car seat! (Canadian!) We have the guzzie and guss oxygen2 travel stroller (canadian and we LOVE!) because it fits in overhead on airplane and it lays flat for infants! We also have the uppababy vista! But honestly I would've gotten the Cruz if the vista hadn't gone on sale on black Friday. We love this stroller for all our walks in the city. For a convertible car seat we have the britax poplar. Honestly this one you should pick based on what will fit in your car the best!
I wish the Joolz Aer had magnetic buckles and a non-zipper reline. Then it would be the perfect true one-hand fold stroller. There are so many videos online that show how easy it is to unfold all these travel strollers, but most of them actually get stuck when unfolding and you need to fling hard. I wouldn't even consider the Uppababy Minu V3, Ergobaby Metro 3 truly one-handed. I actually was surprised that some cheaper strollers were actually real one-hand fold and unfold. The Peg Perego Selfie and Guzzie and Guss O2 both felt like butter. Unfortunately their canopies were too small or too close to the face.
This one! It’s currently on sale ($320 before tax) and is a Canadian brand: https://www.westcoastkids.ca/oxygen-2-0-stroller Super underrated brand, great specs. It’s 12lbs, carryon compliant, and has larger wheels than most travel strollers so you might be able to take it out in mild winter conditions.
Guzzie+Guss oxygen 2.0 lays flat all the way, folds with the touch of a button, is carry-on compliant and its a Canadian brand. https://www.westcoastkids.ca/oxygen-2-0-stroller
Guzzie+Guss Oxygen 2.0 travel stroller. It’s a Canadian brand. Has larger wheels than other travel strollers so might be more sturdy, and is a few pounds lighter. I think it’s a hidden gem and I don’t get how more people aren’t talking about it. Most people recommend the big brands - Nuna, Uppababy, etc. My 1 year old niece loves this G+G stroller and she usually hates most strollers. It has a lay-flat option for newborns so we’re excited to try it when the baby comes. It’s also compatible with all car seats. It comes in 3 colours (black, grey, green) and is currently on sale with a 20% discount ($320) at this store: https://www.dearbornbaby.com/products/guzzie-guss-oxygen-v2-compact-stroller-raven
I think so! At the store the salesperson told us it’s compatible with all car seats. He demo’ed a universal adapter, which requires you to manually fasten the car seat onto the stroller as opposed to clicking in (but it seemed pretty secure).
Clek Liing, love it. Love that it’s lightweight and compact. Love that it clicks into the base but can go into a car without it. Love that it’s Canadian owned *and* manufactured. Guzzie + Gus Oxygen 2.0 stroller. I wanted a bassinet style stroller instead of one to click the car seat into. I can put a nice cosy insert in for cool weather and baby can hang out in it longer than her car seat. It’s lightweight. Like, super lightweight. Like, can’t hang a bag off the handles or it tips lightweight. But I could maneuver it within a week of having o cesarean. It’ll also grow with her. I don’t love that she’s not facing me in it, but there are two different ways to have a view directly at her which combats that easily.
Nobody has addressed this, but you don’t keep the bucket car seat in your car. You bring it inside and keep it inside until you use it, so it’s not like you have to go to the car to get the car seat whenever you want to use your stroller. As others have said, you’re meant to use the car seat in a stroller only temporarily. I have a Guzzie & Gus stroller that lays flat as a bassinet for my newborn. My Clek car seat doesn’t clip into it but I don’t use it like that anyways. I had a Graco bucket and stroller system for my last baby and I would definitely prefer that to those strollers that are just wheels with a spot to clip in your car seat. Feels like a scam for more money lol just be a stroller??
Came here to recommend this one! It’s also so light and easy to use that I can move it around even though I had a c section not even two weeks ago.
