I got a Hauck Runner 2 for my kids when they were younger. Great big buggy and very light to push whilst running (one handed easily, I’d usually run to the side of it and just push/steer with one hand). It wasn’t too expensive either £160 quid and it’s lasted 7 years. They use to love going in it and waving to everyone whilst I’d be running or quite frequently, have a wee nap and wake up rearing to go whilst I was knackered.

No complaints with my Hauck Runner 2, from me or my 17 month old. I'm nowhere near a sub 20 minute 5km though, so can't account for it's speediness.

The Hauck Runner 2 does have suspension. I have it and it’s great and v affordable

You’re not getting confused at all! My understanding is that it’s not a running stroller on a technicality, rather than suitability. From one of my previous comments on a different post: “I got the Hauck Runner Alpha which is not "technically" a running stroller but it has pretty much all the required characteristics (large air filled tires, suspension system, front wheel that locks. It doesn't have a handbrake (but fine unless you tend to run fast downhill - but it doesn't sound like it) or a wrist strap (I bought a £5 one from amazon). It's on Argos for £150 but I got mine second-hand”

I've got the Hauck and it's great! I've had it for 3 years ish now and it's held up really well. Fastest 5k with it was about 23 minutes and I got a 10km PB with it at just shy of 49 minutes. The only difference between it and my friends much more expensive is the lack of suspension but we haven't noticed it having a different for running on tarmac (or forest paths that are solid)

I have a Hauck runner and it's perfect. £130 new and does the job brilliantly. The same as my friends who have the expensive ones minus a bit of suspension - but we tarmac run 95% of the time so it's perfect for that!

You should look at the Hauck Runner. You can get one in Argos at the minute for £130. It’s a great running pram but is also excellent for everyday use.

From a dad: “Hauck” strollers are really good. Been using for 15 months or more. - Buy the ones with BIG wheels 🛞 - The material should be such that you can clear with wet cloth. It may get dirty every other time.

I am doing my due diligence in researching what I want for a travel system. on my first baby, I had no clue. so I had 3 prams (hauck, cossato and silvercross). First was too bulky, heavy. second was too wide. still using it now and I am getting tired of it. the silvercross I have is for travel only, and flimsy. I went to chatgpt and put everything I needed in a travel system as I struggled so bad on my first.
