I got older models off marketplace on baby 3! So far my fave single stroller is litetrax, double is Hauck Uptown Duo! Light but sturdy, big baskets, enough to last & I’ve taken them to beaches, old towns, cities - plus I live in a pretty hilly area!
For my second I browsed marketplace too! But in the end my neighbour was throwing out a ICandy Peach ! Was a result got a free pram, cleaned it up in the garden, replaced the cupholder & bassinet job done! This time I looked on marketplace and got a nearly brand new Huack Double side by side literally nothing wrong with it and cost us £130 ! We’ve kept our Joie stroller for when we’re only taking out one of the 2 under 2! Didn’t bother with a travel system this time as they’re big and bulky for 2 kids with completely different weights (newborn & 18 month old)
I wore my second up until he was about 6-7 month old and then we got a Hauck Roadster Duo when my second could properly sit in it. He's 1 year old now and doing fine.
From a dad: “Hauck” strollers are really good. Been using for 15 months or more. - Buy the ones with BIG wheels 🛞 - The material should be such that you can clear with wet cloth. It may get dirty every other time.
I am doing my due diligence in researching what I want for a travel system. on my first baby, I had no clue. so I had 3 prams (hauck, cossato and silvercross). First was too bulky, heavy. second was too wide. still using it now and I am getting tired of it. the silvercross I have is for travel only, and flimsy. I went to chatgpt and put everything I needed in a travel system as I struggled so bad on my first.
