We have the icandy and absolutely hate it. I would recommend uppababy (vista or cruz) a number of our friends have them and rank them highly
After trying and testing a few we went for the venicci tinum edge 2 in 1 system (bought a separate infant carrier). It honestly is the best investment we ever made. Got it for £570 on sale so mid range, but it’s worth EVERY penny - it’s light, folds with one hand, bassinet is sleek, medium sized and the suspension is insane. Also great on different terrain, we like to go walking lots so it was something that I was looking into. We tested: Icandy peach 7 - way too bulky and so heavy! as a 5ft 3, 50kg person i found it a struggle. Egg 3 - just didn’t really like the design at all and felt it looked a bit cheap Cybex Cloud - We nearly got this but for the price we weren’t as impressed as we were with venicci.
One of the large travel system prams was my biggest waste of money. I chose the icandy peach 7 (bugaboo fox 5 was my runner up) and since I got the joolz aer+ I can count on one hand the times I’ve used it. They are so cumbersome to store and move around, some shops you can hardly get the large prams into. This wouldn’t have changed if I had got the fox. I chose the Joolz aer+ over the bugaboo butterfly 1 and 2 and the yoyo because to me it felt more sturdy than the other two, and it comes with a decent bassinet, the yoyo one is a bit flimsy and the butterfly doesn’t have one (they just bought out an attachable nest but it isn’t the same). My son naps better in the aer as it reclines completely flat whereas the large pram seats can be tilted but they’re not flat. It folds up tiny, super light weight, cleans easily, can take on a plane. I can push the aer over grass no problem.
We had an icandy peach 7 for my first which we loved and still use all the time however it is pretty bulky and the bassinet isn’t separate - it converts into the seat. I’d look at the outnabout nipper, we bought the double version when we had our second and love it. It’s amazing for off-road/bumpy terrain, easy to manouver and fold and pretty compact. You can buy a separate bassinet for it and it’s not overly expensive.
No issues at all as of yet! Quick and easy. We have the icandy peach 7 and find that much clunkier
Congratulations! We have the i candy peach 7. On child two and the pushchair is working well. The footmuff is really warm for winter as well, and the seat is really comfortable. We live in a hilly area but I’d say the thing I have added is a hand strap so it’s always secure to my wrist! The break works fine… A couple things - - do a boot test to see if all of them fit well in your boot! You’d be surprised at how many cars won’t fit the base and bassinet… - check the basket size! My I candy fits so much in so I can put the changing bag plus shopping in without issue. - are you considering a second before your first walks without a pushchair or buggy board? We had thought this so got i candy as you can double up but actually having two seats on the I candy meant I would lose my basket so decided against doubling up and doubling up actually costs so much too! We decided to buy an easy fold pushchair as a second instead (joolz aer 2) and a tricycle for our toddler. - consider what you’ll mainly use it for and how easy/ difficult it is to fold/ unfold. I personally don’t mind this with the i candy but I know others who use the big pushchair from home and have an easy fold in the car. In reality you’ll love any pushchair you go for and they’ll all be great, but when it’s your first child you really just want the best!
