Joie - Aire Skip

We went cheap and just got a Joie Aire. I liked using our travel system with bassinet for the baby (baby 2 hated any carrier) and did buggy board/carrying/balance bike for the toddler, but had the double available for bigger days out etc. Never had an issue with doors etc.

Hello, twin mum here, I’ve got both. Both did the job fine when they were little. Both suck in different ways now they’re a bit bigger. I see the other replies discussing the width of the side by side. I have a Joie aire and it’s never failed to get through a gap, be it a door or one of those metal things on pathways. But the wheels have to be lined up properly sometimes to fit which can be a challenge. The tandem struggles more than the side by side in certain situations because it’s so long. If a shop has a displays all close together then I struggle to slalom round them because the front gets stuck before the back is round.  I also struggle with the weight of the tandem more. But the Joie aire has crap little wheels which don’t cope with cracks in the road!  Just check the dimensions. Check how long the tandems go. I think if side by side is your general preference then check width against Joie aire dimensions because I’m confident that one isn’t too wide for most daily situations. 

Wir haben einen ANB Salsa Air gebraucht gekauft für um die 200€. Nach ca 8/9 Monaten sind wir schon auf einen Joie Buggy umgestiegen, da der Salsa einfach zu groß war für das Auto und das ständige an und ab machen von dem Sportsitz gestört hat (wir haben auch ein kleines Auto) Mit 1,5 Jahren haben wir noch einen Cybex Orfeo gekauft (primär fürs Fliegen, und wenig Platz im Urlaubsort) Seit dem wir den Orfeo haben nutzen wir den Joie nicht mehr. Der Orfeo ist viel leichter und wendiger 😄. Achja den Salsa haben wir wieder für 200€ verkauft. Autositz würde ich unabhängig vom Kinderwagen kaufen. Wir haben uns den ADAC Test angeschaut und im Babywalz ausprobiert ob der Sitz ins Auto passt und dort gekauft. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen 💕
