Ok I’m only 6 weeks in to being a Mom, but I love our Joie Mint Latch and Joie Ginger! We also had a friend give us their City Mini Baby Jogger and I’m excited to use that when my LO can sit up. The Joie Ginger is nice because it can turn into a bassinet and then when baby can sit up it becomes a seat. The Mint latch is baseless and clicks into the Stroller frame. It’s also a great price! Like $500-600 for the whole travel system.

Joie travel system is made by the same company as Nuna. They are almost exactly the same thing. I love ours and we saved about a grand getting the Joie instead

I got the Joie Ginger & Mint because it’s exactly what the Nuna is (same company) and just has different quality fabric. I haven’t seen anything that makes the price of the Uppababy worth it to me. For a travel stroller, I recently saw a video from the Baby and kids expo and the Peg Parego city loop stroller and it looked really cool!

I love my Joie travel system. It’s made by the same parent company as Nuna and it’s really nice and sleek looking but much more affordable. We bought it with our completion discount and saved extra money. It’s not a swivel car seat but it’s a latch car seat so it’s very easy to get baby in and out of car. I just bought a diaper bag from Target 🤷‍♀️ I think social media makes you think you need something fancy but really just any diaper bag works

r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->

I have the Joie Ginger DLXE travel system. I love how easy it is to get in and out of the car. It’s also at a good price point

r/NewParents • Stroller that’s easy for going out & about with just mom and baby ->

I had the same stroller on my registry until i recently found the Joie Ginger + Mint Latch combo. Joie & Nuna are owned by same parent company so they are made VERY similarly but for fraction of the price. They even look the same! The Joie seat also folds into a bassinet to start with, so no need to buy that additional part!

I love my Joie Ginger and Mint Latch travel system. Toddler seat converts to a lay flat pramette and the mint car seat clicks in to any car with rigid latch. It’s great for the city and the set is in that $5-600 range.

I love my Joie Ginger +Mint Latch. Great wheels, a little smaller and lighter vs uppababy, toddler seat converts to a bassinet, baseless car seat with built in ridged latch is a lifesaver for car shares and it clicks right into the stroller.

Do you only want one with a separate bassinet? I got the Joie ginger which has a built in pramette that converts to a toddler seat and it’s been great!

We have the Joie ginger and mint travel system and love it so far! The infant car seat uses the latch system in the car and clicks into the stroller, which has a bassinet attachment that converts to a stroller and can face forward and backward. So we’ll have to buy another car seat once he’s bigger but will be able to use the stroller into the toddler years. To me, it is functionally comparable to some of the more popular systems but at a more reasonable price point.

In the color shale. Super cute and more affordable than Nuna but same vibe.

Go to a store where you can physically touch it, roll it around, pick it up, fold it, etc. I went to target and did that. My husband and I both liked the Joie Ginger travel system the most, so that’s what we’re going to be getting.

It’s going to be ok! It’s very overwhelming out there when it comes to strollers and car seats but what I learned is: 1. You NEED a travel system, it’s so important. Something that’s easy for you to take baby straight out of car and just snap into stroller and go. 2. There’s a really good travel system (great quality stroller & car seat at target called Joie) that I highly recommend because it comes with a car seat and a bassinet that converts into a toddler seat later on. 3. Only go for the convertible car seat once baby is past a year because it’s more convenient to be able to snap baby’s car seat into stroller while your on the go for that first year.
