We have the Joie Mirus reversible stroller and highly recommend - had it since birth, the handle flips so you can have them front or rear-facing and it's fairly compact as prams go without being a full travel stroller. Only thing is if you are super tall then the handle can be a bit short (my husband is 6"4 and has to hunch a bit to use) but.tbh I think most strollers are like this for him!
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • HELP with buying a stroller ->I'd say it works pretty well on rough terrain as you can use the little footbar to push up over any bigger rocks, although it isnt as smooth as the larger wheel options some of my other mum friends have (from travel systems). Agree it's a nightmare as we didn't want to fork out on a whole travel system either - we ended up with this one as a jack of all trades option, there are some limitations i.e. the height of the handlebar, smaller wheels, storage underneath not as big as others. But then it did give us the option to switch to world facing or parent facing which has been really useful, often when our LO is awake we face him looking out, but when he gets tired all we have to do is drop the seat back to lay flat and switch over the handlebars so he is parentfacing and he drops off to sleep really easily (he's just turned 5mo) I guess its now about deciding whether you want something that can do a bit of everything (like the Mirus) or find a front facing with better overall spec from a travel system. Hope it all goes well and you can find a good option :)
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • HELP with buying a stroller ->We had one of those umbrella Joie strollers and it has been great. I would not get anything more expensive since you won't be using it for a long time. Our son stopped using the stroller before he was 3, he was either walking or on his trike.
