Travel-friendly, city-nimble, but tiny storage and struggles off-pavement.

We have that exact pram. It's really lightweight. We've had no issues with it and our little one (7 months) has had no issues napping in it either. We bought it through boots, so I think we saved even more and paid about £42. It's definitely not the best, but for taking on holidays (our main reason for purchasing) it does the job.
I used this for a holiday abroad when my baby was 6 months and he got on really well with it. It was super light yet not flimsy and he napped great in it. I have a Silvercross travel system which I love but I use the Joie from time to time as a lighter option. I think it’s really good for £50 if OP doesn’t want to spend much
I've got a Joie Nitro which has been used as a nursery buggy for 2.5 years. It's been through mud and sand, been on planes. It just keeps on trucking. The straps do come out quite low on the shoulder which is seems to be common on the cheaper models. I just make sure the waist straps are snug. I don't think it matter as much as for car seats - you need them to prevent kiddo from falling out if the buggy tips but the forces involved there are much lower than in a car crash.
Szia!
It's not necessary, but it does help. We left our Joie Chrome at home and bought a much lighter Joie nitro for £50. We still needed to put it in hold because it didn't meet overhead sizes but it was much lighter to carry when needed
We just went with a 50 quid Joie Nitro umbrella stroller. Not cabin sized but we gate check it. It’s been on multiple flights and survived sand, snow, cities etc along the way. Main reason for getting it was to have something cheap to leave at nursery but it’s also worked great for travel as we don’t care if it gets broken / lost (it got left in Singapore earlier this month when flying home from seeing family in Aus, but fortunately we got it back a day later).
