What’s your price range? The Uppababy Minu Duo is probably my favorite Uppababy product and their best executed stroller imo. I have a Valco Snap Duo Trend that I looooove - same situation as you, I was sick of my modular stroller and wanted a side by side that was lightweight, one piece/one step fold and long lasting for tall/heavy kids since one of my twins is disabled. 5 years ago the Snap Duo Trend was the best cross between full size/full features for heavy daily use while still being relatively light for a double. It was our workhorse for years until we finally dropped to one regular stroller rider about a year and a half ago. The Joie side by side double is solid for the price. Some people love Zoe strollers but they’re not my personal favorite - I just prefer something heavier duty. And if you need *really* heavy duty, Baby Jogger has lots of great products and the Bumbleride Indie Twin is a workhorse too. If you’re willing to wait for Black Friday and/or shop around the used stroller markets (Facebook, Mercari, GoodBuyGear etc) you could get a good deal on something relatively fancy!

I got one for $300 from target that’s great. Joie rosemary. Big downside is no divider between the seats but our kids with a 22 month gap did great Oh and the storage basket is better than any other double stroller we looked at. Not gonna find anything that’s a better value unless you find one used somewhere

I got the Joie Rosemary for once my LO could sit up and I love it. It was hard to find something with 3 cup holders!

It's not convertible at all, but has a bit of recline & 5 point harnesses. I really like Joie Rosemary. Budget friendly, lightweight, & has 3 cup holders!

For what it is worth, I used a double stroller, side by side. I had joie (uk brand) cheap ish one £75 it is just two seats next to each other, but they lay flat independently so I could lay little one down flat. I used it for maybe the first 3/4 months then a few things happened: -My toddler didn’t want to go in the pram much anymore and got so much better at walking -if toddler was in double side by side she would poke, squeeze and mess with baby, keeping her awake and sometimes edging in being too rough. Can’t see them both facing away from you so this became hard to manage - double stroller is a ball ache to get in the boot plus any shopping or anything else so I prefer the single and that’s what I use every day now without fail. Toddler walks or is on a balance bike. On a rare occasion I do a really long day out I may still consider the double but for me the double lasted only a short while and is now gathering dust. It was 100% worth it in the early days though I couldn’t have got around without it. I just wouldn’t spend more than £100 personally.

Depends on what country you're in. I'm in Japan, and got a Joie twin stroller. Side by side seats, good until they're about three years old, has a rain cover, I can take down the side to allow air flow, and I can attach sun shades no problem. My only complaint is that I wish there were better tires. A lot of the other strollers named aren't even sold where I live. And, looking at the specs, wouldn't be usable either. My stroller can fit through the train station gates, which was most important for me.
