We got a joie finniti which is like a cheapo version of nuna triv and I wish I had the nuna even though I'm not sure it would really be worth the extra money
r/PregnancyUK • Do you need to get a travel system? ->I can’t speak for the particular model you’re considering, but we picked up the Joie Finiti travel system for around £600 (including the 360 I-level Pro car seat) in the summer for our first baby and we haven’t looked back! We tried lots of models before deciding and came to the conclusion that we’d rather spend the extra few hundred pounds on nursery furniture than having a more ‘desirable’ brand. So far it’s held up perfectly and gets lots of compliments when we’re out and about!
r/NewParents • Nuna or Joie ->We got the Joie Signature Finiti travel system and it has been great - it is quite pricy though. It’s very solid and easy to use. The car seat was really useful but only for a short time unfortunately and then we had to get a bigger one. I don’t think you can go wrong with Joie, they are pretty solid. Everyone seems to love Noola though, they are everywhere!
r/askSouthAfrica • What baby strollers are you using/did you use? ->I like the joie finiti (in maple it looks quite flush too). It also folds in one when you get to stroller which i think is great and I can do that whilst holding my 10kg baby in the other arm.
r/UKParenting • Stroller for Second Baby ->At 8m I just bought a new stroller, was going to go with the joie signature parcel xl but like you its too lightweight although even though the wheels were small it seemed to handle to gravel well. I ended up going with the joie finiti though... its amazing. My baby loves it because he can see out soo much better, and he easily goes in, whereas my vennici he hated. I hated it too because it took up so much space to store and in the car. The finiti folds in one, so its packed in my tiny suziluki swift boot all in one and if I have it in the house its folded by the door. I LOVE it. I know I wont use it for much longer but its so much easier to manage. Only thing is it doesn't fold with the clair de lune footmuff I got on it but im okay with that as I don't need it on all the time... yet.
r/UKParenting • Pushchair reccs! ->I have a 3 door Mini Cooper and have a nuna triv next. Been really good for me, small, compact and suitable from birth. But at 6 months I still bought a cybex libelle as it’s SO tiny for when I pop out to the shops just to make life a little bit easier. If low budget I would recommend looking for a second hand nuna triv next or a Joie Finiti is the sister brand (same company it’s a little bit heavier but almost identical pram).
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • How many of you have actually kept your travel systems until your child is 4/5 years old? ->It depends on how you’ll use it. We have narrowed it down to 2 travel systems. As a soon to be family of 5 with a dog we need one that folds as small as possible for car space. We wanted a spacious and flat basket underneath so the dog can sleep in the bottom on longer walks and we go on a lot of countryside/ woodland walks and stop in a cafe etc for lunch so that was a a must for the pup. We are both old this time and crackle and pop when we move hahahah so wanted one with a bassinet part that sits quite high for easy access to baby. Then we like that the handle bar and bumper don’t rub in the floor as they’re folded as this ruins them quickly. Clips for the changing bag do it doesn’t fall down the handle a lot. Both have a pocket in the bassinet part and a pocket in the back of the seat unit for car keys which is super useful. Both have tilt option for reflux. I presume the uk and USA will have different prams available but we are deciding between the joie signature finiti in maple and the maxi cosi oxford in truffle. We know we will be swapping between the carseat and bassinet/ seat on the frame a lot so we are put off by needing different adapters for each. One pram doesn’t have a footmuff or changing bag to match which is a shame. But the other is a bit harder to fold and is £200 more expensive but better quality. We also looked at size of the bassinet part. We are predicted to be having a big baby -4kgs ish as my last 2 were big.. so we avoided prams with a shorter or narrower bassinet as we know baby will grow out of them before they’re ready for the seat :) Make a list of how you’ll use the pram. Where you’ll be going and for how long etc to work out what will be most useful for you. We got blown away by fancy features but realistically know we would t use them as we don’t live in a city and I don’t have school runs etc etc :)
r/BabyBumps • Stroller What features are actually worth it? ->These two prams are great in terms of being light weight and able to use on different terrain. I am very petite (4ft 9) and they were top of our list when testing prams as well as the Joie Finiti, Venicci Claro and the Cybex Balios S Lux. All of these I could easily fold and lift up into a boot. I liked the Claro most but in the end we went with a Joie Finiti which is basically the same as the Nuna Triv, only because we bought 2nd hand on marketplace and it was the only pram on our list close by and in great condition. Has been great for us. I have fit it in our Yaris once with the basinet on top and needed to leave the boot lid loose, but primarily use our Rav 4 so not sure about every day fitting in and out of a smaller car. Definitely worth going to a store that has lots of prams available to try out.
r/PregnancyUK • Pram recommendations?
