We got a joie finniti which is like a cheapo version of nuna triv and I wish I had the nuna even though I'm not sure it would really be worth the extra money
I can’t speak for the particular model you’re considering, but we picked up the Joie Finiti travel system for around £600 (including the 360 I-level Pro car seat) in the summer for our first baby and we haven’t looked back! We tried lots of models before deciding and came to the conclusion that we’d rather spend the extra few hundred pounds on nursery furniture than having a more ‘desirable’ brand. So far it’s held up perfectly and gets lots of compliments when we’re out and about!
We got the Joie Signature Finiti travel system and it has been great - it is quite pricy though. It’s very solid and easy to use. The car seat was really useful but only for a short time unfortunately and then we had to get a bigger one. I don’t think you can go wrong with Joie, they are pretty solid. Everyone seems to love Noola though, they are everywhere!
I got the BeSafe go beyond baby car seat that is compatible with nearly all prams. I got the Joie infiniti signature pram set that goes up to age 4, I think (compatible with BeSafe, simply clicks on and off with ease). Folds down easy and quite light. I went to the shop and tried them all.
I like the joie finiti (in maple it looks quite flush too). It also folds in one when you get to stroller which i think is great and I can do that whilst holding my 10kg baby in the other arm.
At 8m I just bought a new stroller, was going to go with the joie signature parcel xl but like you its too lightweight although even though the wheels were small it seemed to handle to gravel well. I ended up going with the joie finiti though... its amazing. My baby loves it because he can see out soo much better, and he easily goes in, whereas my vennici he hated. I hated it too because it took up so much space to store and in the car. The finiti folds in one, so its packed in my tiny suziluki swift boot all in one and if I have it in the house its folded by the door. I LOVE it. I know I wont use it for much longer but its so much easier to manage. Only thing is it doesn't fold with the clair de lune footmuff I got on it but im okay with that as I don't need it on all the time... yet.
Welcome to parenthood my friend, it's all a minefield of useful but way way way too much information for one person. My attitude to life now, is go to a place you trust see what they have, pick something and then zone put all the other noise of the what ifs. They're all good brands, things to consider are; Budget, terrain, storage (where will you be putting it), weight (does it need to be lightweight for the person or sturdier for the weather). Get to a pramstore and honestly just see what they have, they often have deals on. I have the joie finiti, live it, range of colours, folds in my boot, sturdy enough for the winds of Scotland and great wheels for all terrain. But no.1 is just go into a shop.
I have a 3 door Mini Cooper and have a nuna triv next. Been really good for me, small, compact and suitable from birth. But at 6 months I still bought a cybex libelle as it’s SO tiny for when I pop out to the shops just to make life a little bit easier. If low budget I would recommend looking for a second hand nuna triv next or a Joie Finiti is the sister brand (same company it’s a little bit heavier but almost identical pram).
