So my husband was adamant no double strollers, our boys are too big (two 95+ percentile babies) and we also have a wagon. Ended up having to buy a double stroller on Facebook marketplace (joovy kooper RS2 like new for $300). Even when going outside to parks, the wagon just wasn’t working. A big thing was the inability to nap in it and the other thing was getting on and off for my older one was very inconvenient and toddler just wanted to be carried by mama. But I got wrecked carrying and picking up two giant kids (1 year old is almost 30lbs) and toddler is well over 40lbs. Our kids are too big to baby carry and neither liked it so I only use the belt (the momcozy version of the tushbaby). We bought the double before our trip to Hawaii and we would not have survived without it. The flexibility of not having to return to the hotel room for naps (even our older one who never naps in stroller napped in it) was great. Cause when baby napped, we could all go out and play with toddler. I don’t think I would’ve liked one parent being with baby in the room while one parent is outside entertaining toddler. I wanted us to stay as a family especially since we don’t get to spend that much time together outside of vacation. Baby was 10 months and toddler was 2.5 years when we went. Being able to hop on and off was very convenient. My oldest one likes to walk more than be in the stroller or be carried but on vacation when schedules were off and he got tired from too much playing, the stroller was super useful. We Didn’t take car seats, rented a van with car seats to go to and from destination. It wasn’t an all inclusive but we stayed in Waikiki no cars and everyday just walked across the street to the kiddie pool. I would definitely take at least the wagon on vacation. You just can’t hold all the stuff that kids need (diaper bag, toys, food, towels, sunscreen etc) AND carry two kids.

Also wanted to mention, we exclusively use the double stroller now even after vacation, so the money wasn’t wasted. I would look for a double stroller that’s not umbrella on Facebook. I love the joovy kooper S2, it’s lightweight, comfy for my giant toddler and it’s easy to fold. I don’t like the magnetic straps but that’s my only gripe. We’re also thinking about a trip to Disney in the next couple of years and this double stroller fits the dimension requirements.

My boys are 20 months apart We used our double stroller constantly! We went with a joovy kooper We’ve also got a double schwinn bike trailer/jogging stroller. Even at almost 4yo and 2yo, they’re legs still get tired and boy is it easier to have a stroller available instead of trying to juggle everything

We had a cheaper stroller for my first, the Joovy Kooper. It has a near-flat recline, and it weighs 17 lbs. It has a one-handed fold. The unfold isn't really one-handed. We're expecting #2, and I wanted a lighter and easier to fold and unfold stroller. We got the Joolz Aer2, and I'm really happy with it so far. I plan on mostly putting the 2yo in it at first while I wear the newborn. Once I can trust my toddler to actually stick with me, we have the rider board if he wants. Baby Can sit in the seat then, fully recline if needed. Adjusting the recline is simple too. The fold and unfold are truly one-handed. It's lighter than the Joovy Kooper (14 lbs), and it feels much higher quality. The ride is smoother, the fabric is nicer... I'm a fan. It took me a moment to figure out how to adjust the harness straps (loosening them is similar to a car seat), but it's easy to do once you figure out how it works. And the whole no-rethread harness deal is wonderful, especially considering I may have to switch between two kids. I don't tend to carry a lot of in the basket, so the smaller basket isn't a huge deal for me. They also have the bag that fits in the basket perfectly, which I kind of want, to be honest.

Yeah I’m so pissed how small that expensive stroller is! We have a Joovy Kooper and it fits him at almost 4. 50 pounds and 43” tall. Plus it folds up so easily and small.

Tall parents definitely need a stroller with adjustable or higher handles so you don’t end up hunched over! Even if price isn’t your main concern, models like the Joovy Kooper are great for their taller handle height and work well for both travel and everyday use. Also, [this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/KeepThisInMind/comments/1lwth3i/need_a_best_cheap_travel_stroller_under_300_which/) has top strollers that are lightweight, comfortable, and easy to steer.

We’ve used the Joovy kooper since my son was a newborn and it’s been great. It’s flame retardant free and folds up nicely. It’s also much more affordable than other “non toxic” options (it’s $250). We had the nuna pipa infant seat and it fit into the stroller fine. They sell an adaptor so you can pretty much use any infant car seat.

Yes, but highly depends on lifestyle. I have a Veer Switchback but had a Joovy Kooper for a very long time before the airline lost the Joovy Kooper which I used as our travel & everyday stroller. The Kooper was great since we lived in Metro LA at the time and was used on streets & sidewalks. Also used it for travel and it held up great. Ended up buying a Chicco Stroller in Italy (the airline lost it en route from France somewhere) and pushing the Chicco across Italy's roads & sidewalks was miserable. Came back to the States & was looking to purchase a Veer Switchback. They weren't made when my son was born, but I previously purchased the wagon and loved it. Bought the Switchback second hand as we moved cities & we became a LOT more active outdoors. It's huge, but I don't mind it because of all of it's features.

We started with a Joovy Roo+ so we could clip the car seat in. It made the most sense when they were still in infant seats. When they were a few months old we came across a Bob twin jogger at a yard sale and held onto that and used it as they got older. That wasn't great for navigating indoors though, so when they moved out of their infant seats we got a folding side by side Joovy so it fit in the trunk better.
