We had the maclaren twin techno which is a side by side, but the same width as a larger single pram. Much preferred it to our tandem (city jogger), when it was windy the tandem was really hard to control

Everyone is so different and if I had to do it over again I would make different decisions haha. I didn't end up using my fancy big twin stroller barely at all in the first 6 months (was sooo heavy, had stairs) and instead used the very basic snap'n go twin framed stroller because I could stick their infant car seats in there (had Chiccos, I think). So when they were napping, it was so much easier to transfer them that way. Got it off another twin mom for $40. The first two strollers you posted look a lot like my "big" stroller. I like the look of the Zoe twin more tbh (wasn't available here at the time I don't think, but I live in Canada so don't have as much selection) We did make ourselves use the big double stroller (it was a top bottom one, not side-to-side\_ but it just really hurt my back hoofing it around everywhere and eventually, I just stopped beating myself up over the $$$, haha and sold it. Hated the stupid adapters, lol. Wish I had never bought it! haha. Our favourite stroller was a super cheap delta side-by-side because it was SO light and we could travel with it, I think they went in there around 6-8 months? One of my other twin mom friends had the same situation and she converted to a bike stroller instead. Again, everyone is different. I borrowed a Maclaren side-by-side and also really enjoyed that one. I honestly would not rush to buy a stroller at all unless you see a crushing sale or someone else is buying it for you. Used twin strollers are super discounted as well, or last season, etc. That said, what works for one family might not work for another. A lot of people baby carry in the beginning as well, though it's trickier with twins. Good luck, welcome to the club! :)

I don’t think there is one perfect stroller. Perfect for you might be terrible for me. That said, Bob duallie was hands down the most comfortable to push, best storage, easiest to maintain, and the kids found it most comfortable. The only downside is that it is huge and doesn’t fold down very well. It barely fit in the back of my forester and there certainly wasn’t room left for the dog or other bags. Vista is second place. It don’t maneuver well with two toddlers, the rumble seat is laughably small (both of my kids were uncomfortable in it by the time they were 2.5 years old), the brakes are terrible, and while it does fold down pretty small it’s such a pain to do. You have to pull at least the bottom seat off to collapse it, and if you don’t configure the top one very precisely or it gets stuck in the frame making it impossible to open or close. The storage basket isn’t easy to access with the rumble seat in. The suspension is garbage for the price. The classic side by side maclaren umbrella wins for being easy to use and super compact. I found it to be smoother and more maneuverable than the Vista with two kids. It’s an umbrella stroller, there’s no storage and no suspension to speak of. The handles don’t adjust much so it’s not comfortable to push if you’re tall.

5, technically, but 2 live at the grandparents’ houses. Of the other 3, we use 2 regularly - a Bob jogging stroller and an Uppababy vista. The third was a freebie from Facebook - a maclaren umbrella stroller. While the umbrella stroller is definitely smaller and lighter, I find it more awkward to unfold than the Uppababy, so that’s what lives in the bigger vehicle and what I use on occasion at the grocery store if I only need a few things. The only one we (or the rest of our family) spent any money on was the Uppababy. The rest we were v fortunate to get locally free.

We got a Doona (with isofix) for the first couple of months, still very happy about that decision! We also got a second hand stroller with convertible bassinet (2 in 1). Besides those first purchases for the first couple of months, we got 1-2-3 car seats with isofix for both kids for when they grew out of the Doona (I can't remember the brand). We had our baby registry at Dreambaby and with the extra coupon you got (a percentage of what was sold from the list), we bought the car seat. When they got too big for the second hand stroller, we bought a Maclaren stroller (easy to fold and didn't take up too much room in the car). We always tried to take into account safety, combined with not using up too much room or storage, because babies come with a lot of stuff!
