It honestly depends on your preference, I live up north in a city and use public transport/walk as well as driving, I’ve always loved my big bulky Ocarro. If I was buying another pram though, I would go big but check the ease of accessing the storage, particularly with the bassinet attachment. That was definitely one drawback of mine I didn’t foresee, and even with the buggy attachment it’s a bit of a wrestling match actually getting your bags in and out of the bottom, even though it can hold a lot! So take some shopping bags with you when you trial them!

I researched prams A LOT before purchasing for my LO who is now nearly 1. I had similar requirements to yourself, and my shortlist was: 1. Oyster 3 2. Nuna mixx next 3. Mamas and papas ocarro We ended up going for the ocarro, mainly because it was the cheapest/found it on offer! I think any of the 3 I’ve listed would be suitable for you. The nuna is possibly the biggest out of the 3 when folded iirc.

My MIL and I went to Mamas & Papas and tried a couple out. Ended up with the Ocarro and it’s been brilliant.

Winstanley often has great deals on too. If you’re looking for an all terrain pram we have a Mamas and Papas Ocarro which we’re really happy with over a year later. We got ours from Winstanley for a loooot cheaper than direct from M&P - it was just an ‘old’ colour (it’s beige, lol)

I have a mamas and papas ocarro which is so heavy! I fell pregnant with my 2nd when my girl was 11 months old and also decided a lightweight option would be good. Definitely agree with others saying Joolz Aer+, i bought it and its amazing! I’ve kept my Ocarro but tempted to get rid of it for my 2nd as it’s so good. So lightweight and one handed opening and packing. It was amazing when I was heavily pregnant! I also suffered with PGP.

I love my Joolz Aer2 it’s amazing and I highly recommend it. However three things put me off using it as my only pram - small basket, small wheels (fine for city but not great for bumpy/mud paths) and it doesn’t forward face. It is my favourite pram but I still occasionally use my Mamas and Papas Ocarro which solves the above issues but itself is an issue with being incredibly heavy! So it really depends on how you’ll use it and if you’re happy not forward facing.

Ditched our big pram when our son was 12 months. We had an Ocarro but now just have the Joie Pact Pro, which is like a cheapy version of the Jools Aer.

I have the Occaro mamas and papas travel system with the cybex infant carrier and i love it! i bought it on sale so it was £1100 + a £100 voucher for the whole travel system. Carry cot, stroller seat, stroller, foot muff, infant carrier, isofix base, car seat adapters so it can be clipped onto the pram, pram blanket and changing bag, cup holder - might be forgetting a few things. The infant carrier and the isofix base would’ve cost over £500 on their own! highly recommend buying a travel system as they usually save you money and save you the hassle of buying everything on its own. Some of the car seats included in the travel systems aren’t always the best though, so I would probably choose a travel system with a safe car seat or buy a car seat separately. I probably wouldn’t recommend the Occaro if you want something lightweight as it’s quite bulky. But I love the storage basket and my baby is always so comfortable in her seat. It’s all terrain so I have had no problems pushing it on pavement or taking it on trails. Folds quite easily too. I would invest in a good quality travel system as I have used our stroller almost everyday. Also the ability to clip a car seat onto the chassis is amazing! We never take our full stroller on shops or short outings, we just clip the car seat onto the chassis. That way we get more space in our boot, and baby doesn’t get disturbed if she’s sleeping. We also plan on using the same travel system for our next baby, so it’ll get plenty of use. Personally my baby isn’t a huge fan of the wraps or slings - she goes in the carrier but it sometimes gives me a backache so the pram is used in 99.9% of our outings.
