Based on 1 year's data from Feb 24, 2026 How it works
There are options without brand-locking tho. My mamazing air lux works perfectly with nuna
Same. Until I found they were hard to pair with the nuna that our baby's grandparents gave us. Did some digging and found that this one works with lots of infant car seats and even comes with a pair of adapters. And the frame is super light, if that matters to you
We went with the mamazing for our newborn too after hearing so many people complain about bulky strollers lol
I really like our mamazing air lux for our infant. It pushes smoothly with one hand and folds up so easily. Also, it works with a bunch of infant car seats with its adapters. Even my cousins sometimes put their baby's seat onto our stroller frame when they're over. And we got the stroller and bassinet together for under $500, while a lot of other brands would've cost closer to $1000 once you add everything separately.
We love our Mamazing Air Lux! Got it when our LO hit the toddler days, and it's been so handy for getting out and about.
I believe the mamazing air lux works. It comes with adapters compatible with many car seat models.
Folds and unfolds one-handed buttery smooth! It can get bumpy on rough pavement, but overall feels pretty stable. We’ve even loaded up the cup holder with a big Stanley and hung a backpack on the handle, it didn’t tip at all.
Exactly. That's why I love its one-handed fold/unfold so much.
We were also looking for a stroller to pair with our Nuna car seat and were torn between the Nuna Triv and the Mamazing Air Lux. We ended up going with the Mamazing because it was more affordable and the seat is reversible. Living downtown and relying heavily on buses and subways, its one-handed fold and light weight have been a huge help. It's also super light, so going up and down stairs is a lot easier.
We love our Mamazing Air Lux. It's seriously light even with the seat attached, fits our Evenflo. And it's on sale right now, way below your budget
What works really depends on your routine and where you live! We live in NYC, so we often use public transit and enjoy road trips. After trying a few brands in store (Nordstorm usually has some), we found that weight and an easy fold mattered most to us, so I focused on lighter strollers. We ended up getting our mamazing air lux, and it's been really easy for public transit. Storage space is definitely important because with a baby you really need to carry a lot! We were pleasantly surprised it fits our Lululemon bag perfectly lol. One thing I really loved was the bassinet and the seat that can face us. Many of the brands we tried in store didn’t offer that 😕
We use a Mamazing full-size stroller and it's actually light. Perfect for quick grocery runs or doctor appointments. Cheaper than those SUV-sized ones too.
Actually works pretty well. I bought it for my second baby. Way lighter than our previous Uppababy but doesn't feel cheap at all. Confident it'll last through the preschool years, and it even comes with adapters for the infant car seat we used with our first.
Yeah totally. I do one-handed all the time. It's smooth even with my toddler trying to help lol.
Totally agree. Our top priority was also keeping it light. I saw so many people had to buy an extra travel stroller or umbrella stroller later because their main one was way too heavy. We're using the Mamazing Air Lux and it’s been great: pushes smoothly and stays super compact. You can even find the bassinet package for a solid deal at around $400
Highly recommend the mamzing air lux. It's not that typical travel stroller but it's close and way lighter than most full-size strollers. I use it with the bassinet from birth, and it should last for years. The storage basket is also bigger than those on usual travel systems, which is a lifesaver. You simply can't imagine how much stuff you need to haul once you have a baby😅 For me, this stroller plus a cheap umbrella stroller is completely sufficient.

The UPPAbaby Minu V3 is somewhat lighter than other UPPAbaby models, and it was our first stroller. But after two months, it still felt too heavy for daily use, so we ended up selling it on Marketplace. We switched to the Mamazing Air Lux Bassinet Ver. It's much lighter and more convenient than our old one, the included car seat adapters fit our Nuna infant seat perfectly.
Here to second the Air Lux stroller. Lightest one we’ve had and the whole fam thinks it pushes great. Super easy for subway runs too.
Same here. We swapped our heavy UPPAbaby Cruz V2 for a Mamazing full-size cuz the Cruz was just too heavy for everyday outings. And highly recommend the Mamazing! It's super light, around 16 lbs. Price-wise it’s not high-end, but it has all the basics and honestly pushes just as smoothly as the UPPAbaby. Also, I recently saw Jamie Chung uses a stroller from this brand too... mind blown lol
Then I’d honestly go for a solid travel system, like the UPPAbaby Minu V3 or Mamazing Air Lux. Both are lightweight, fold up really small, and feel sturdy. I picked Mamazing 'cause the price was better, and unlike UPPAbaby (where you end up buying a bunch of extras), it comes with the car seat adapters that click right into our Nuna.
We ended up going with the Mamazing Air Lux because it’s really lightweight and comes with adapters that fit a lot of infant car seats. It really saves us the hassle of compatibility issues down the road. I can’t really speak to its long-term durability since we haven’t used it for very long yet, but the materials are nice and it looks and feels quite premium. It does feel a bit bumpy on uneven surfaces, but overall it’s decent. I mean, for a stroller under $500 that includes a bassinet, I can’t expect it to perform exactly like those $1,000+ models. But for the price, it’s definitely worth it.
I probably wouldn’t get the Doona. You only get to use it for a short time and a lot of babies outgrow it around 10 to 12 months, and it’s also not that easy to lift. A lightweight travel stroller makes a lot more sense. You can use a car seat adapter now, and once your baby is bigger she can just sit in it like a regular stroller, so you get way more use out of it. We were in a really similar situation and ended up getting the Mamazing Air Lux when our baby was about 3 months old. It’s been so much easier than using a big Uppababy tank for quick outings. It folds one-handed and doesn’t take up much trunk space.
