There are options without brand-locking tho. My mamazing air lux works perfectly with nuna

Same. Until I found they were hard to pair with the nuna that our baby's grandparents gave us. Did some digging and found that this one works with lots of infant car seats and even comes with a pair of adapters. And the frame is super light, if that matters to you

We went with the mamazing for our newborn too after hearing so many people complain about bulky strollers lol

I really like our mamazing air lux for our infant. It pushes smoothly with one hand and folds up so easily. Also, it works with a bunch of infant car seats with its adapters. Even my cousins sometimes put their baby's seat onto our stroller frame when they're over. And we got the stroller and bassinet together for under $500, while a lot of other brands would've cost closer to $1000 once you add everything separately.

We love our Mamazing Air Lux. It's seriously light even with the seat attached, fits our Evenflo. And it's on sale right now, way below your budget

We use a Mamazing full-size stroller and it's actually light. Perfect for quick grocery runs or doctor appointments. Cheaper than those SUV-sized ones too.

What works really depends on your routine and where you live! We live in NYC, so we often use public transit and enjoy road trips. After trying a few brands in store (Nordstorm usually has some), we found that weight and an easy fold mattered most to us, so I focused on lighter strollers. We ended up getting our mamazing air lux, and it's been really easy for public transit. Storage space is definitely important because with a baby you really need to carry a lot! We were pleasantly surprised it fits our Lululemon bag perfectly lol. One thing I really loved was the bassinet and the seat that can face us. Many of the brands we tried in store didn’t offer that 😕

Actually works pretty well. I bought it for my second baby. Way lighter than our previous Uppababy but doesn't feel cheap at all. Confident it'll last through the preschool years, and it even comes with adapters for the infant car seat we used with our first.

Yeah totally. I do one-handed all the time. It's smooth even with my toddler trying to help lol.

Totally agree. Our top priority was also keeping it light. I saw so many people had to buy an extra travel stroller or umbrella stroller later because their main one was way too heavy. We're using the Mamazing Air Lux and it’s been great: pushes smoothly and stays super compact. You can even find the bassinet package for a solid deal at around $400

The UPPAbaby Minu V3 is somewhat lighter than other UPPAbaby models, and it was our first stroller. But after two months, it still felt too heavy for daily use, so we ended up selling it on Marketplace. We switched to the Mamazing Air Lux Bassinet Ver. It's much lighter and more convenient than our old one, the included car seat adapters fit our Nuna infant seat perfectly.

Got a mamazing on Amazon. Have traveled with it 3 times now. It's amazing opens and folds back up one handed great canopy and storage and super light. Fit in the overhead of the plane no prob at all! We went to Disney with it twice. Used it to walk around Disney springs and if I didn't need a double for my other son I would've said it was good enough to even use in the parks. So convenient and way better than a cheap umbrella stroller.

Same here. We swapped our heavy UPPAbaby Cruz V2 for a Mamazing full-size cuz the Cruz was just too heavy for everyday outings. And highly recommend the Mamazing! It's super light, around 16 lbs. Price-wise it’s not high-end, but it has all the basics and honestly pushes just as smoothly as the UPPAbaby. Also, I recently saw Jamie Chung uses a stroller from this brand too... mind blown lol

Here to second the Air Lux stroller. Lightest one we’ve had and the whole fam thinks it pushes great. Super easy for subway runs too.

After doing a lot of research, we settled on the mamazing air lux. The bassinet is perfect for newborns, I just pop my baby in and we're good to go for our walks. Other strollers have bassinets too, but what really sold me is how incredibly light this thing is. As a new mom constantly on the go, I can't tell you how much I appreciate not struggling with a heavy stroller every time we leave the home.

My baby loves it, my pick mom sings its praises. I can't say it'll be 100% right for you, but this is my recommendation based on experience.

Our infant is 4 months old and we still only have one which is a full-size Mamazing stroller. Since we live in busy NYC, we prioritized something easy to fold and compact. It also concerts into a bassinet and works with an infant car seat, so honestly it's been all we need. A lot of parents we know bought an umbrella or travel stroller later because their first pick wasn't lightweight enough for outings. But we've even taken ours on flights and it fits right in the overhead bin(just remove the handle). Looks like we might get to skip that whole "second stroller" phase.

Congratulations! Honestly, choosing a stroller really comes down to your daily life and where you live. If your neighborhood sidewalks are rough or uneven, something sturdy like the UPPAbaby is a solid choice. You can often find good-condition ones secondhand, which helps a lot if budget’s a factor. But if you’re often driving or using buses/trains, I’d really lean toward something lighter. We debated between Bugaboo and Mamazing for a while, both work with bassinets and car seats but ended up going with the Mamazing Air Lux mostly because of the price. Got the stroller and bassinet for around $500. Car seat wise, we’ve been using the Nuna Pipa and it clicks right in.

I haven't used an Uppababy but we do have an Air Lux. It clicks perfectly with our Nuna Pipa. We take our baby out a lot. It handles normal curbs and park paths just fine, though it does get a bit bumpy on larger cobblestones

Get mamazing Air. I don’t think any other stroller is lighter than that. It’s pretty good. It costs and weighs half of joolz. I was so adamant about joolz but then even that one is heavier compared to Mamazing Air. Mamazing weighs less than my baby lol Don’t use it before 5-6 months tho. It doesn’t go beyond 150 degrees and it might not be super comfortable for babies below that. Joolz also goes only until 150 degrees.

I got it as a travel stroller so used it only a couple of times. The quality is pretty good. I haven’t used a lot of strollers to comment on how others are. My focus was getting the lightest and one which feels safe. It checked both the boxes. The other ones I ordered under 250 felt cheaply made or didn’t feel safe. This one was just perfect for me. Order from Amazon, you do get a return timeframe. I needed one for my wife just in case she wants one to go up and down the stairs and our evenflo one was 30 pounds total.

Yes yes and yes. My baby is 8 pounds now and the stroller is I think like 9ish or 10. It’s amazing. The build quality is decent. We took it for an international trip too and have been using it as a primary stroller as it’s easy to pick and go. Oh you got hit by stairs and don’t have a ramp, you can literally pick the stroller up with the baby in it and it will be lighter than some of the strollers out there. FFS I don’t understand why would anyone build strollers that are upwards of 20/30 pounds. Like are you pushing us to start lifting? Sorry sir; I did not get the memo that I will have to lift a 36 pound stroller daily from my apartment on 2nd floor.

We live in downtown Boston, so a stroller is pretty much a daily essential. We knew we needed something light but seriously sturdy. While UPPAbabay and Nuna get all the buzz and they are nice, the price just didn't work for us. My wife also prefers to skip secondhand stuff from Marketplace. That's how we landed on the Mamazing Air Lux. It’s not a big name brand, but it’s been totally worth it. Super light for navigating the city, and even after getting put through the wringer daily, it’s still going strong.

We have the Mamazing air lux stroller, we just purchased it on amazon and we LOVE it. It's so lightweight we use it to go everywhere. I am also partial to something with a sleeker design I can't stand heavy bulky strollers.
