I used the Mamazing Ultra Air for a cross-country flight. Super light to carry and the recline was perfect for my baby' s naps on the plane.
We love our mamazing ultra air! It's crazy light(I'd bet it's the lightest travel stroller we've tried), and the storage basket is way bigger than those umbrella strollers. Fits perfectly in the airplane overhead bin, and we've thrown it in there on tons of trips. It also comes with a stroller bag, which also helps protect it from scratches.
Another vote for mamazing. It's got a carbon fiber frame, while bugaboo and joolz are aluminum alloy, so it's just as sturdy but lighter.
In my experience a travel stroller really helps because my LO stays settled and close to me, which makes the airport so much easier. I think it's worth getting one that can go in the overhead bin since that saves a lot of hassle. And when you're out all day something lightweight is always better. We've been using the Mamazing Ultra Air and it fits in the overhead bin really well, and Babyzen YOYO2 and the Bugaboo Butterfly are great options too. And for the flight, I always bring plenty of snacks since they keep my LO happy for longer, especially new snacks or teething snacks. For toys, you really don't need much. My LO actually spent most of the flight playing with the little airplane water bottle lol.
I‘ve taken my 1yo on a couple trips with the Mamazing Ultra Air and it's been super easy to travel with. It's light, folds down small, and fits in the overhead bin without any trouble.
It's not on your list, but the Mamazing Ultra Air is seriously worth considering! My whole family loves it, even our baby’s granny finds it super easy to push and lift
Our Mamazing travel stroller is carbon fiber and only 11.6 lbs. It basically lives in our car, gets bumped around all the time, and has held up really well so far
Definitely bring a stroller. It’s super handy for carrying stuff and a toddler who’s too tired to walk (or just refuses to). I have the mamazing travel stroller and love it. We relied on it heavily during our trip to Japan in March. It’s carbon fiber, so it’s lightweight and really durable.
We just took our mamazing stroller to Japan, and it was perfect the whole time. Super easy to fold and really easy to maneuver. It also came with a travel bag, which made gate-checking a breeze.
Another vote for the mamazing! But for the regular and not ultra air one. It's been an amazing everyday stroller as well as travel stroller for us - both around the US and internationally. We typically take it on the flight with us and just have to take the bumper bar off so it fits overhead. No issues within the last 2 years. Mamazing is good. I absolutely love the one-hand fold and unfold. It makes it possible to handle the stroller while holding the baby
Not at all! It stays really stable even when my kid isn't in it and I've hung my backpack on the handle
We love our Mamazing travel sys. It's cabin-approved, but we sometimes gate-check it too, and thanks to its compact size, it's really easy to handle during check-in. Even after multiple flights with the included travel bag, it still looks and works like new!
We went with the Mamazing travel stroller and it’s been great for us. It’s cheap enough that we honestly haven’t been super precious with it over the past year, and it’s still holding up totally fine. It’s really light and easy to maneuver, which helps a lot in crowded places like airports. We also bring a baby carrier for spots where the stroller is annoying or impossible to use.
Our go to travel stroller has been the Mamazing Ultra Air. It folds down really small, so we usually toss it in a bag for flights and it’s never been an issue at the airport
It's the Ultra Air from Mamazing. Got it from the AMZ
My Mamazing Ultra Air has been on several trips with us. It fits perfectly in the overhead bin on the plane. I'm not very strong but it's easy to fold and lift with one hand. I hesitated for a long time before choosing it but for a travel system, lightweight is everything. So highly recommended!
