I realise you’ve probably already made your purchase, but personally I’d avoid it. We bought the full travel system and all seemed good, but we have experienced the following issues over the last 7 months. - the battery bank is terrible. If you use the led lights even for a second the battery bank itself basically remains on at all times, this means within 4-5 hours the battery is flat even with the lights now being off. Maxi-Cosi sent a replacement battery, same thing happens. I have seen reports of people being told by customer care that the ‘correct’ thing to do is to unplug and charge the battery EVERY SINGLE TIME you use the lights of use it to charge your phone. It basically doesn’t go to sleep like a normal USB power bank does which is basically all this thing is. - the extendable flap on the hoods of both the bastinet and the upright seat is extremely poor quality. I assume it’s made of cardboard rather than a stiff plastic as it creases and warps and makes the lovely shape of the hood look ugly. - the material around the hinges on the hood for the bastinet is very thin, ours has little wear marks/holes in in it after 4 months where the hinge rubs the fabric every time you move the hood up and down. - the wheels and brakes are fiddly. Sometimes they won’t engage or disengage first time and require 2-3 clicks to get them working. It’s a lovely looking, but ultimately flawed and rather heavy/bulky system. If I would have known I’d have bought something else.  As for the seat being suitable from birth, no chance. Ours is 6 months old now and even in the lowest setting the shoulder straps are too high, the buckle is also extremely fiddly to get assembled latched with a wiggling child sat in it. I should say ours is a ‘large’ baby being in the 83rd percentile (basically larger than 83 other babies if he was in a random group of 100 babies his exact age)

We have the Maxi Cosi Fame and we love it. Bought that and the Pebble 360 pro car seat as part of the bundle and it's very easy to set up and also easy to get the seat in and out of the car.

I have the Maxi Cosi fame. I liked the brake on the middle, the storage, height adjustments, aesthetic. It turns quite nicely. But it's really heavy and if you have a smaller baby the pram straps aren't adjustable enough which is a real shame. I also find it difficult to get some of the additions in Australia. Ultimately I think I'll get a travel pram soon and probably end up using that more often.

Love love love! BUT stroller seat is 100% NOT suitable from birth. Definitely need the bassinet. My little girl just turned 6 months and is sitting well so thought we’d move into the stroller seat now but the straps are very high even at their lowest point! So we’re keeping her in the bassinet a little longer. Naturally this also depends on babies size but you don’t know this yet obviously!! My little girl isn’t particularly big so easier to stay in there a little while longer as she still has room. Honestly I love the entire thing this is the only downside we’ve come across so far. The bassinet is stunning; the extended hood and air vents are lovely. It’s also great having the adjustment to move it higher and fit more stuff in the basket underneath. It is quite big and bulky but the bassinet folds quite flat too which is handy and I honestly don’t have many bad things to say about it!!!!

I have the Maxi Cosi travel system and a compact SUV - Mitsubishi RVR and agree with this. It fits well in the back, but the passenger seat needs to be moved up extremely closely to the dash. It doesn’t fit in the middle well because then both seats need be adjusted the same. I do like it overall though, I saw many reviews about the wheels being bad but it’s worked nicely for us (only been using it 3 weeks so far) for casual walks. I don’t find the car seat too heavy, but to be fair I didn’t test a lot.
