We had the maxi cosi lara2 for our oldest, it was great. Went abroad twice with us, and once to Mew Zealand when I lent it to a friend. Still in good condition so will get used again for our second. So would definitely recommend

I have the bugaboo fox 5 and the maxi cosi Lara 2 as our holiday/travel pram, which it is great for but absolutely could not use it every day. The brake gets in the way and it’s just not as sturdy. I know the fox 5 is bigger but I would absolutely always recommend bugaboo. They just feel so well made and well thought out for every day

We've just got the Maxi Cosi Lara 2 from amazon as it was recommended to us. Very light to handle (overall it's very light so not great if you need to put loads in the basket), easy to collapse and put up with 1 hand.

TLDR baby is now 8 months and we've just swapped from a huge Silvercross pram to a lightweight, easy to fold Maxi Cosi pram. We bought a Silvercross travel system on FB marketplace for £100. The seller had barely used it, it had every single accessory you could think of, bassinet, car seat, all the rain covers, etc. It's been brilliant for the last 8 months, but we've been fed up of it taking up the entire boot, so we've picked up a Maxi Cosi Lara 2 (apparently suitable from newborn) new in the prime day sales for £130. I'll resell the Silvercross pram as although the wheels now have some wear, it's in otherwise excellent condition.

Just to give an alternative to thr joolz Aer (which I agree is great!) we recently got a Maxi Cosi Lara 2 off the back of a recommendation from a friend. It cost £~130 in the black Friday sale and we're pleased with it so far, it's very light and easy to 1 handed fold down. It lies flat and has a decent sun shade. It's not as smooth as the joolz, however compared to the massive travel system we had before, it feels great!

I don't understand the appeal of the Doona, it looks like the worst of both worlds between a car seat and an infant stroller. Unless you are going to be Ubering regularly I wouldn't get this. The Maxi Cosi lie flat thing is not for newborns; for newborns, you're supposed to use the car seat with that particular stroller. Just because it can lie flat doesn't mean it is appropriate for newborn use. The Vista either requires a bassinet or the Infant SnugSeat to use with newborns. The Vista is a great stroller but it is large; it's a good stroller if you are going to be out all day but not the best for navigating the subway with. If you think you will be riding the subway a lot, I would look at a travel-style stroller like the Babyzen Yoyo. They are smaller and lighter and will be easier to get up and down stairs and navigate through crowds. There's also the carrier options in lieu of a stroller. If you are going to be walking outside more, you could consider a larger stroller like the Vista.
