I actually really like the Maxi-Cosi Zelia travel system for what you described You get the stroller + bassinet/toddler seat + infant car seat all in one, so it makes things way less overwhelming. The wheels are pretty big, suspension is decent enough for trails/beach paths, and it’s not insanely heavy or bulky. Folds pretty nicely too. Also feels way more reasonably priced compared to some of the super boujee systems lol. And honestly after a year you’ll probably switch car seats anyway, and later on end up wanting a lighter compact stroller once baby gets bigger, so I personally wouldn’t stress too much about finding the “forever” stroller. I was actually deciding between the Maxi-Cosi Zelia and the Cybex EOS, and I ended up going with the Cybex. Personally, I felt the overall build quality and materials were much better. The Zelia is definitely a bit cheaper, but to me it didn’t feel as solid or premium in person. Since a stroller is something you’ll probably use for 3–4 years, I didn’t want to deal with constant warranty claims or parts issues later on. This is the one I went with: [Cybex EOS 5-in-1 Travel System](https://www.babyenroute.com/products/cybex-eos-5-in-1-travel-system-stroller-lightweight-aton-2-infant-car-seat-with-sensor-safe-3?utm_source=chatgpt.com)
We have this same one and are happy with it. Pushing and turning it is smooth and the easily collapsible like you said.
We have the maxi cosi zelia luxe and we’ve loved it for all sorts of weather. Folds down well enough (I drive a crosstrek so my trunk space is less than yours I believe) and came with compatible car seat and the stroller seat itself converts to a bassinet very easily. We felt it important to go luxe because bigger wheels and Quebec winters and so far so good. Under 1000$ and we get compliments on it often 😊
Haha anytime! My friend also has the same system and has no issues either! We both got the momcozy stroller caddy because the cup holder that comes with it is not super stable depending on the bottle/cup you put in it, and I would recommend getting it as it’s useful for storing all your little things (pacis, teethers, keys, phone, burp cloths, etc). Other than that it’s super easy to use and fold down, watching videos online of the fold down process etc is what sold me most.
Maxi cosi zelia - the newest version is amazing! Mixed reviews are from the old version.
We love it! They redesigned it as of February and made the shock better and wheels bigger. It’s the only stroller we have and I’m not sure we’ll even end up getting a non-travel system since this has everything we need!
Maxi cosi zelia luxe. Bonus is that it comes with an infant car seat. I’m in Alberta and this stroller is a workhorse, it has such a smooth ride, comes with everything you could need. We used the bassinet function for the first 2.5 months of baby’s life and then converted it. We’ve also traveled with it twice. Includes car seat converter, cup holder, rain cover, winter cover. And it’s pretty!
I am constantly recommending the maxi cosi zelia luxe system. Fits all your criteria. Great wheels, the bassinet function is great, includes car seat, I have had zero issues.
Maxi cosi zelia luxe travel system. Has most of your requests except no 360 car seat, and the car seat is infant only. It’s a great system though! Big wheels that work for me in Alberta winters
We got the maxi cosi and I really like it. I will say that the car seat base that comes with doesn’t have a load leg. It’s still totally safe, but we ordered a second base from their website and it’s just a bit nicer to install. I haven’t used the uppababy cruz but I did look at in the store and it didn’t feel worth the extra cost, but I have friends who love theirs.
I’ve only used it a hand full of times but so far so good! My baby is only 8 weeks and it’s not been good weather for outdoor walks
I have the maxi cosi zelia luxe and very much a fan! Baby was not a fan of being flat in the bassinet so glad I didn’t buy it as a separate piece and that it converts to the seat. I will say the suspension kinda sucks but I don’t have any experience with other strollers so maybe this is just normal. I also found out afterwards that maxi cosi is made by safety 1st so had I known that I might have just bought their products instead of the markup for maxi cosi.
