I got the Mompush Meteor because it has a giant bassinet for a very affordable price. My cousin still loves it for her 2 year old because she can sit up or lie down and take naps in it, plus it’s essentially a mobile changing table. I have it in addition to our car seat travel system/regular stroller (because it was about $200 for the whole setup and giant bassinet)
I have the mompush meteor2, have had it since my first baby in 2023 and used it for my second as well. It does lay completely flat as a bassinet, and then you can also turn it into a seat style. It's a good stroller, pretty easy to use and I like the adjustable push bar. Having a totally lay flat bassinet was great and enabled us to take lots of walks for the first 6 months. Cons: it takes up a lot of space in my trunk and you have to take the bassinet/seat off to store it. Not that big of a deal and I'm pretty sure that's the same with most of the bassinet attachments on other strollers, but it is not something you can set up while also holding your baby. Now that I'm out of newborn stage and most likely won't have another child I'm going to sell it and get a more compact folding travel stroller to keep in my car since I don't need a bassinet anymore.
Of the two you posted, I'd probably choose the meteor again if I was purchasing from newborn. If you plan on flying with your child or have a tiny car/no trunk space, then the lithe may be better but if you're looking for a daily use stroller the meteor would be better. It looks like the lithe doesn't lay completely flat for newborns which was important for me.
Is there a true difference? I’m having a hard time picking a stroller that is affordable and short. I came across the Mompush meteor which appears to adjust very low which is ideal and I just saw the Mompush lithe which is an almost lie flat stroller suitable for newborns. I’m trying to think pros and cons. Obviously lie flat versions are lighter and more compact but I like how bassinet strollers can parent face. Any insight? UPDATE: I got the meteor and so happy I did, it’s the perfect size for me and rides smoothly! Very happy with my choice
Lie flat is 175 degree angle. I was leaning towards the meteor but couldn’t decide if that 5 degree was important enough lol Did you find the meteor to be short? I had the wiz on my registry, got it, and it was massive. I’m just under 5’ and see that the handle goes down to around 32 inches but that’s only been found in like an AI overview
Mompush has an uppababy vista dupe for a fraction of the cost. My son is almost 3 and we just got rid of it for a gb pockit since he almost always wants to walk. So definitely a stroller in this field. We used it from day one and loved it.
Meteor 2 is the one we got! I made a good chunk back selling it because it held up amazingly even with frequent flight travel!
Another vote for Mompush! I have the meteor 2 which in addition to the bassinet/stroller seat combo also works with my maxi cosi car seat. It’s sooo easy to open and close and very light.
I’m 6’ tall which I realize isn’t 6’5 but I have the mompush meteor and find the height more than comfortable! super budget friendly too. I used to have the mockingbird and this one’s much better.
