After reading so much about strollers I think it really is a personal choice at the end of the day. You'll find people who love and hate each one you look into regardless of price😅 I am also in Ottawa- our criteria was decent wheels/suspension to handle the weather and a solid separate bassinet because we walk a lot with our active dog. We got the mompush ultimate 2 stroller because it had better wheels than evenflo/gracos, and had the bassinet without the high pricepoint of nuna/uppa.
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Nuna vs Graco stroller and car seat[nb] ->We love our mompush ultimate 2! It has a separate bassinet though. I think the Wiz has the 2 in 1 seat
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Best bougie on a budget stroller? [on] ->Oh I get it!!! So in that case maybe it might be easy to have the convertible car seat since me personally never really took baby out with just the car seat. Baby wraps and Carriers are easier to keep the baby comfortable and all. And also for walks and so you really don’t need the big stroller, a compact travel one does the job just fine, that’s what I used the most when had one kid and takes less trunk space. I have a Mompush one that I got on sale for under 150.
r/Mommit • Car seats? Strollers? ->We got a separate stroller for travel. We used the mompush from Amazon/a carrier for our baby. We bought uppababy’s travel bag to put our stroller and car seat in btw. If something happens to it uppababy will reimburse you but it has to be in their bag.
r/NewParents • Uppababy Cruz for travel? ->I partially regret my purchase of the Mompush, just throwing it out there. It's a perfectly fine stroller, rolls nicely and has the basic features you'd need but they decided to stop including the mattress pad cover and inside lining to the bassinet. Not really a big deal despite the fact it's listed as including it and it's still a part included in the assembly instructions. When I called and asked they were literally like "we think it's better without it!" The lining material is scratchy and not cozy at all. I'm bummed about it!!!
r/BabyBumps • Alright let’s talk strollers ->I got the Mompush ultimate and have regretted it every day. It's an adequate stroller but the poor quality comes out in frustrating ways, and I just wish I had gone with the Uppababy vista. My brother has it and it is truly superior. I did not realize how many miles we'd put on our stroller. We walk at least 2-3 times a day for 30 min each. I am hoping to get a Black Fri deal on a better stroller actually!!
r/NewParents • New parent question: Are stroller over $500 really worth it? Is a more expensive stroller always better? ->This was my dream stroller! While I was pregnant I would go to my local baby store and tested out like once a month. I loved it so much. Unfortunately, it was out of my budget. I was gifted a mompush. It suits my needs, but it takes up way too much room in my trunk, leaving barely any room for anything else. I really wish that I was able to get the Triv. If you have the budget for it, definitely get the stroller!
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna Triv Next as the only stroller? ->We have the mompush bassinet. Took a sec to unfold it because I feel like it was still kinda stiff but now it's fine. Has a secondary latch to keep it closed in case as well. Bassinet isn't small but isn't big. Can also fold into a stroller when he's big enough. We had the graco bassinet but didn't have the right travel system so we never got to try but we do have the snugride dlx 35 car seat and stroller or whatever it it. Nice and smooth but we only use that for short things, we use the mom push for longer store trips or walks in the neighborhood. Graco usually has good sales and bundles for military
r/daddit • Stroller talk ->I got a $99 MomPush one on Amazon (during a sale). It starts as a bassinet then adjusts to a seat. Kept it pretty simple - it’s good for outdoor walks and I didn’t really care if it got dirty or a little banged up. The canopy is UPF 50, which was nice, and there’s a cold weather cover you too. The bassinet/seat detaches and it folds up well. No way was I going to spend more than $150-$175 on a stroller! Now that we’re about to have two we’re considering leveling up, but I really just don’t think it’s necessary to get something super fancy.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->Diaper bag- Brand: skip hop, it’s a great size, has diaper inserts, a changing pad, and two cupholders pockets (I use one for sunscreen) Car seat - Brand: Evenflo, we got the shyft dualride because it converts from car seat to stroller quick when you are on the go running quick errands (I don’t like grabbing a stroller from the trunk every time and pulling a sleeping kid out every time we get out of the car), but they have a revolve 360 that you might like because you said you want something that swivels. Stroller - Brand: mompush, get a stroller that can go flat like a bassinet so that baby can sleep on their back while going for walks and errands
r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->Also want to add that I had the Mompush stroller and I loved it. It wasn’t heavy and bulky and we had it up until she turned 1.5 years. We switched to a small compact toddler stroller that gave us more room to store things in our trunk
r/PregnancyUK • Is it better to have a separate car seat and pram rather than a travel system? Recommendations? ->I really like my Mompush with the bassinet attachment. I did a lot of research bc my husband and I have always been active with running and disc golf, so I wanted a stroller that could handle some terrain (for when he’s a little sturdier). For now, I’m obsessed with the bassinet attachment. I like that he can sleep in it flat on his back, but I’ve also taken the attachment off and used it as a place to nap out on our deck, or it’s easy to transport to other people’s houses if we need to visit and they don’t have a place to lay the baby down at. So it’s been pretty handy, I recommend it.
