After reading so much about strollers I think it really is a personal choice at the end of the day. You'll find people who love and hate each one you look into regardless of price😅 I am also in Ottawa- our criteria was decent wheels/suspension to handle the weather and a solid separate bassinet because we walk a lot with our active dog. We got the mompush ultimate 2 stroller because it had better wheels than evenflo/gracos, and had the bassinet without the high pricepoint of nuna/uppa.
We love our mompush ultimate 2! It has a separate bassinet though. I think the Wiz has the 2 in 1 seat
We got the Mompush Ultimate 2 and Nuna Pipa infant seat. Comes with a great bassinet
We love our mompush ultimate 2! But I believe it was ~$520 on black friday sale, so above your budget at regular price
I have the mompush ultimate 2. I like it. It had a bassinet attachment for when baby was little, now her car seat attaches to it. It folds up nicely and is super easy since my husband explained the SIMPLE design to my postpartum brain lol
I got the Mompush ultimate and have regretted it every day. It's an adequate stroller but the poor quality comes out in frustrating ways, and I just wish I had gone with the Uppababy vista. My brother has it and it is truly superior. I did not realize how many miles we'd put on our stroller. We walk at least 2-3 times a day for 30 min each. I am hoping to get a Black Fri deal on a better stroller actually!!
I partially regret my purchase of the Mompush, just throwing it out there. It's a perfectly fine stroller, rolls nicely and has the basic features you'd need but they decided to stop including the mattress pad cover and inside lining to the bassinet. Not really a big deal despite the fact it's listed as including it and it's still a part included in the assembly instructions. When I called and asked they were literally like "we think it's better without it!" The lining material is scratchy and not cozy at all. I'm bummed about it!!!
Might be worth it if I checks all your boxes. I have the mompush ultimate 2. It doesn't come with a car seat and it takes up a bit more room than I'd like, but other than that it's a great, affordable stroller. Comes with all the accessories included, so no buying the cup holder, rain cover, bassinet, etc.
Mompush ultimate is a great stroller. I loved mine. Also go to AnB Baby in Wantagh to support a local business and test drive strollers.
This was my dream stroller! While I was pregnant I would go to my local baby store and tested out like once a month. I loved it so much. Unfortunately, it was out of my budget. I was gifted a mompush. It suits my needs, but it takes up way too much room in my trunk, leaving barely any room for anything else. I really wish that I was able to get the Triv. If you have the budget for it, definitely get the stroller!
**Mom push Ultimate 2 stroller**. It’s a really solid dupe of the UPPA baby and a 1/3 of the cost. It has a bassinet and a standard seat included. The handles are height adjustable. The wheels are solid and smooth. I was really hesitant to splurge on the UPPAbaby and sooo glad I found mom push. https://mompush.com/products/mompush-ultimate-2-stroller
Mompush strollers are compatible with Nuna car seats and don’t require additional adapters (I can’t remember if the adapters come with the stroller or if they aren’t even required but either way there’s no additional purchase needed). I have a Mompush ultimate 2 which is kinda like an Uppababy vista dupe but only costs I think $300 and an additional $100 for the bassinet attachment. It is comfy, sturdy and looks great but is bulky and heavy (just like these $1k+ strollers). I still love it a lot as does my now 17mo but I mostly wear her on my back when we are out anyway. I know Mompush has a few other lightweight/travel strollers you might want to look up. I highly recommend getting a travel stroller simply to save space in the trunk of your car and for ease of use (and of course to be able to use it while traveling). ETA: I’ve used the Mompush ultimate 2 on a fair number of easy hikes on dirt trails and uneven ground and it has faired well.
