The Mountain Buggy terrain is brilliant
r/UKParenting • Which all-terrain buggy? Comparing the Hauck Runner to the Out n About Nipper ->Same here, wife wanted (and obviously got) a Maxicosi to match the capsule for the first stroller, nice and compact, easy to fold but I took it for one semi-offroad adventure and went straight out and found a Mountain Buggy Terrain with suspension. Yes it's big and kinda heavy but I have a ute and I'm kinda strong. I took him a stack of places with it where I would have just destroyed the compact one. I ended up preferring it for shopping as it carried way more stuff/weight and it could spin in a circle so very easy to manoeuvre. We've now upgraded to a Thule Chariot Sport for the off road stuff and a Larktale Caravan wagon for everything else. He loves the wagon and it's rated to 90kg so we can put him in one side and all the shopping in the other. Compact strollers have their place but definitely not for everyone!
r/daddit • Hands down, the best purchase I've made in years ->I'm not sure if they are available where you live, but I really love our mountain buggy terrain. We live near a forest so most of our walks are offroad. I've also recently dislocated my shoulder and can still push with one hand with a 3 year old in it
r/fitpregnancy • Strollers- Veer Switchback Jogger or Thule Urban Glide 3 ->Another to throw in the mix if it's available in your country is the Mountain buggy terrain. We love ours, and exclusively use offload as we live next to a forest.
r/fitpregnancy • Jogging/All-Terrain Strollers - My Thoughts After Seeing Multiple In Person! ->We have a mountain buggy terrain and it’s been great for us on dirt roads, etc
r/beyondthebump • Best off-roading stroller for a newborn ->If anyone else comes across this thread, the mountain buggy terrain is a trail jogging stroller that lays completely flat, has a 5 point harness, air tires, and suspension. I've used it for my two kids from birth and it holds up to 55 pounds (my almost 4yo is about 40 lbs now). Not cheap but I got mine on sale. That said, still not recommended to jog with babies under 6 months. Great for walks on our bumpy sidewalks tho. And trails of course
r/newborns • Any jogging strollers for newborns UNDER 6 months? ->We had good success with both a Mountain Buggy and a Thule. Note - both are jogging strollers, the Thule has a newborn attachment. I should add - we live somewhere snowy and walk a lot (ie malls and putting it in the trunk aren't common for us) and that very much informed our choices.
r/Parenting • Double stroller recommendations ->I was looking for the same thing - opted for getting a mountain buggy all terrain which is amazing! But way to bumpy for newborn and doesn’t hold a lot of stuff. I just have a couple of good carriers and baby wear! Much easier with dog walking too
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best stroller for rural living? ->I also have a mountain buggy stroller and it is the best! The all terrain 3 wheeler is needed where I live but also great for running! The car seat depends on the type of car you have - I had a very unique situation which required the most compact (forwards and backwards) car seat possible and did lots of research. I ended up getting the maxi cosi pria and love it! My car is high so the smart guide strap is so beneficial for getting baby in and out of the car! There are so many different cots and bassinets, really depends on your style because they all have to comply with Australian safety regulations (not sure about older second hand ones). Personally I have an Il Tutto bassinet and a mocka cot - very happy with both!
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Baby cot, car seat and stroller recommendations please? ->We’ve used a MB Terrain for all three of ours and found it to be excellent. MB offer good customer service support too, for example I was able to buy a replacement brake cable from them.
r/UKParenting • Which all-terrain buggy? Comparing the Hauck Runner to the Out n About Nipper ->I know you found one but I like the mountain buggy v3…. Not only does it lie flat, suitable for newborns, but it can accept ANY newborn or infant car seat … it has a seatbelt like strap attached so you can put your car seat on it and securely attach it. Great if you are ever travelling with a car seat
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Travel Stroller for 4 month old [on] ->Redsbaby nuvo is an awesome pram and if budget is no issue I’d get that and a travel pram or an off road pram depending on your lifestyle. I have the nuvo and a mountain buggy for bushwalks
r/BabyBumpsandBeyondAu • Best prams for our first baby? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
