We bought a mountain buggy terrain for our first child and will be using it with our second, the terrain comes with 2 sets of wheels the larger ones being great for running, trails, uneven ground etc. we also bought the bassinet and capsule attachments along with a mountain buggy capsule and we love it ☺️ it’s definitely not cheap but it’s really sturdy and worth it for us! The front swivel wheel can also be locked in place to make running a bit safer

I'm not sure if they are available where you live, but I really love our mountain buggy terrain. We live near a forest so most of our walks are offroad. I've also recently dislocated my shoulder and can still push with one hand with a 3 year old in it

Another to throw in the mix if it's available in your country is the Mountain buggy terrain. We love ours, and exclusively use offload as we live next to a forest.

I have a mountain buggy terrain and love it, especially for offroad. Just in case you don't already know, you can't jog with baby until they are over 6 months old.

Yes the mountain buggy terrain has a hand break. Its great for even when you're walking with hills.

I highly suggest getting a good running stroller if that's your jam. The Thule is highly recommended and we have the mountain buggy terrain which is amazing! We have the bassinette which is sleep safe too, and with our previous kid was a life saver when he was tough to get to sleep. We could take him for a walk in the evening and just leave him in there asleep instead of having to try to transfer him. Because its big, we also have a travel pram. It folds up to smaller than carry on size, so takes up no space in the car. The running pram hardly ever gets folded up unless I want to take it out somewhere.

If anyone else comes across this thread, the mountain buggy terrain is a trail jogging stroller that lays completely flat, has a 5 point harness, air tires, and suspension. I've used it for my two kids from birth and it holds up to 55 pounds (my almost 4yo is about 40 lbs now). Not cheap but I got mine on sale. That said, still not recommended to jog with babies under 6 months. Great for walks on our bumpy sidewalks tho. And trails of course

I was looking for the same thing - opted for getting a mountain buggy all terrain which is amazing! But way to bumpy for newborn and doesn’t hold a lot of stuff. I just have a couple of good carriers and baby wear! Much easier with dog walking too

I also have a mountain buggy stroller and it is the best! The all terrain 3 wheeler is needed where I live but also great for running! The car seat depends on the type of car you have - I had a very unique situation which required the most compact (forwards and backwards) car seat possible and did lots of research. I ended up getting the maxi cosi pria and love it! My car is high so the smart guide strap is so beneficial for getting baby in and out of the car! There are so many different cots and bassinets, really depends on your style because they all have to comply with Australian safety regulations (not sure about older second hand ones). Personally I have an Il Tutto bassinet and a mocka cot - very happy with both!

We’ve used a MB Terrain for all three of ours and found it to be excellent. MB offer good customer service support too, for example I was able to buy a replacement brake cable from them.

We have a mountain bugger terrain as our "main" pram, and it's great - especially for running with the lockable front wheel and ability to easily swap out the wheels for larger ones if you're going "off road". We got a package set that came with a maxi-cosi capsule (and adaptors to let it connect to the pram) and bassinet, both of which have been amazing. A little pricey, but they have good resale value. We recently picked up a mountain buggy nano as a travel pram, since it can go on flights as carry on and we're doing a lot of travel over December - February. It's also now my preferred pram when going into shops, since it's so small and easy to maneuver in stores, and doesn't take up much boot space. Definitely not good for running, but a great little option if you can afford a second pram (check out FB marketplace - there's loads available 2nd hand).

I found that the mountain buggy jogging strollers work best for tall kids. Bob strollers have a very short back and my 3 year old already touches the canopy with her head (she’s 105cm tall) The mountain buggy urban jogger (I think that’s what it’s called) has been great for us. Tons of storage, easy to push, and she fits in it with so much room to spare

We had good success with both a Mountain Buggy and a Thule. Note - both are jogging strollers, the Thule has a newborn attachment. I should add - we live somewhere snowy and walk a lot (ie malls and putting it in the trunk aren't common for us) and that very much informed our choices.
