Mum to 8week old, just starting to venture out. i got a urban jungle mountain buggy 2nd hand with bassinet- took her out yesterday to a family lunch & transferred her from carseat to pram where she could sleep comfortably for a while. Hired maxi cosi carseat capsule with intention of putting it on pram but then got bassinet so wasn't needed- prefer the bassinet too she can lay flat. Will buy a bigger carseat after 6months not sure which yet!. Baby monitor - tbc will read suggestions here

Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle has survived a lot of trail walking and jogging. We've had it since 2022 and are about to use it for #2. But you can't run with it using the carrycot as baby will jostle around way too much. Parent facing seat maybe if the path is smooth, but we waited on the jogging until our first was big enough to use the main seat. The pram is still just as good as it was day one, and it will have great resale value when we're done with it. Main cons are that it's bulky and heavy, and also the instructions for putting it together the first time were so awful I was crying with frustration (full disclosure I was very pregnant and hormonal at the time) It can be compatible with car capsules, but we never had one so I can't speak to it.

We've got a Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle (That we still use as our "home" stroller" and a year ago got a Bugaboo Butterfly as our "in the car" one, and it's great for quick out-and-about stuff. We use it for our 4 year old who has a disability and it'll suit her for the next little while at least. Not as stable as the Mountain Buggy, it's quite narrow so you have to be careful on sideslopes, but any compact buggy is gonna be the same.

Our mountain buggy urban jungle has been awesome. Goes anywhere, rides smooth, has a bassinet attachment. We had an uppababy but sold it. Compared to the urban jungle, it was flimsy.

We found the mountain buggy urban jungle stroller to have the highest back rest and highest cover clearance. My 3 year old is 3’7” and has lots of room left in it still We got the lillebaby carrier that starts around 3-4 months and can be switched to your back when the child is too big for the front. Don’t bother with a bassinet. Mine was in her crib by 2 months old cause she outgrew the bassinet

We have a mountain buggy urban jungle which works well for running and handles trails ok(maybe not particularly uneven ones) - but it’s quite bulky and takes up a lot of space in the car! It’s also a bit tricky to navigate inside cafes or shops. If you think you might want to use a pram inside as well as going running I’d say get two - one bigger and one smaller.

Agreed on mountain buggy. We have a secondhand urban jungle that doesn't miss a beat. Great for everyday and the random patches of gravel. I think a different model would be more suited to trail running though. We had it with the bassinet attachment, then upgraded to parent facing at 5ish months. It is definitely bulky to cart around, we have a baby zen yoyo that lives in the car and is compact, but definitely better on paved areas. For car seats, we hired a capsule for the first 6 months then upgraded to a convertible car seat, both Chicco, both great. You don't want them in the car seat for more than an hour as a newborn so pulling them out is better, rather than clipping the car seat onto the pram. As everyone else has said, take them for a test at the baby show if you can!

När mina barn var små hade vi en vagn som hette Urban Jungle. Är de helt borta nu?

Been recommended the ‘Mountain Buggy - Urban joungle’ it’s dearer but managed to find a good conditioned one second hand for half price. Just needing to buy the Baby crib attachment but not to expensive. Love how solid it is, light weight and easily folded together with one motion. But the best thing about it is how it handles!!! So smooth! Can even operate it with one hand which is great as we have a dog too.
