We went with nuna demi grow since we had the lightweight infant carrier from nuna. We didn't get the bassinet for the stroller and just used the infant carrier until they were old enough for the seat. It is large and heavy stroller through. For day to day look at a light stroller that is compatible with your infant carrier. [compatibility chart](https://www.babylist.com/hello-baby/car-seat-stroller-compatibility) That way you can actually use it for going into the many appointments you have early on.
r/NewParents • Please recommend a stroller for my newborn. Lightweight vs Full Size ->Nuna Demi grow has been the greatest of all time! I’ve had it for 6 years and my two kids are still both comfortable in it and I have drive them around with one had it’s so balanced well.
r/BabyBumps • Don’t get the uppababy vista stroller if you plan on using it for two ->I got the Nuna Demi grow 6 years ago with my first, I wasn’t sure I was going to have a second child, so I just got it with the one regular seat and with a Nuna Pippa car seat, and the bassinet. I did not use the bassinet at all, but just the car seat with the stroller and then with the stroller seat was amazing and the very best part of it was when I finally did have another kid I could put the larger kid on the bottom and keep the littlest kid on the top with no steering issues. Now my oldest is like six years old and my youngest is three and they both fit in there perfectly still, the older one on the bottom he just climbs himself right and it’s like his little cave. We took it to Disney world even! It is nice cuz it fits through doors just fine but is also not very long! Also both the top seat and the bottom seat hold up to 50 pounds each.
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I got the CYBEX car seat that swivels and it has lasted me 6 years and I got the Nuna demo grow stroller because of the option to use it with two kids, and I have used it SO MUCH over the last six years with my two children and I still use it to this day with a six year-old and a three-year-old they both still fit great
r/BabyBumps • Tell me what freaking diaper bag, car seat and stroller to buy. My brain is melting. ->The vista v2 comes with a bassinet. The Nuna demi does not come with a bassinet and I don't think the new UB v3 does either. For the high price points it's total bullshit you have to buy everything separately. Definitely make sure you double check if you are buying new (also use registry discounts). If buying used i'd look into a V2 personally. I've seen a bunch on marketplace that are reasonably priced and in good condition. Also be aware some bassinets don't have clips so baby is just free balling. We used it a handle of times, mostly walks around the neighborhood and we took it when we knew we were going someplace for a while (as you don't want them in a car seat for so long).
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->She's my best friend since we were 5. My stuff is very gently used. My nuna stroller and carsest don't look like the ones you see online. They were both from 2023. Brand new and super clean. My son luckily never had blowouts or even puked on them. I tried selling and offers were 200. No one wanted to pay over 200. It was over 1k retail. I'm not being that nice to a stranger who could most likely afford it but just wants a deal.
r/Mommit • WTF is UP with people trying to sell *used* baby clothes/gear for 75% of the original retail price? ->We bought a Numa stroller to go with our car seat, and recently a GB pocket air. We really regret the numa since it was expensive, is massive, and we never use it. Whenever we go places or on neighborhood walks, I always just carry our son in the carrier. The Numa has been used once, so we’re trying to sell it. We’re hoping to travel more with the little guy this year, so that’s what prompted the much cheaper GB pocket purchase. Folds up really small so you don’t need to check it on the plane. Will probably be our main stroller if we ever need one when not traveling too.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->I regret it! We got a single stroller for our first baby. Our logic was that the single-to-doubles are more expensive and we didn’t know if we’d be able to have more kids since it took over 5 years to get pregnant the first time. Our kids ended up being under 2 years apart, and we bought a single-to-double (Nuna Mixx). So we definitely would have saved if we just started with the single-to-double just in case. It is pretty easy to maneuver. The Nuna Mixx is pretty unique in how the bottom seat almost goes underneath the top. So some downsides are less storage space and less options for the seat positions. But I think it’s worth the trade off for how it takes up less space and is easy to maneuver, fit through doorways, etc.
r/beyondthebump • Does anyone regret not getting a single to double stroller? ->I think you either mean Nuna Demi or Uppa Baby vista. I really do think there can be a difference in fabrics and comfort. For me the most important thing that lead me to Nuna was being flame retardant free & PFAS (forever chemical) free. Now if those aren’t deal breakers for you, you could certainly be happy with some other travel systems. I have a love hate relationship with our Nuna Demi. I bought it because it converts into a double stroller, thinking we’d have multiple babies. But we’re probably now in the “one and done” crew. So I’m stuck with a very heavy stroller & wont be using the biggest benefit of the stroller. If I could go back in time, I’d probably get the Nuna Triv instead.
r/NewParents • Car Seats and Strollers ->Late to this but please don’t get the nuna Demi grow if you prioritize a smooth push. Even without a kid in it, it pushes horribly. I blindly got it without testing it out because a lot of people recommended it and I loved the double seat on the bottom. Second baby isn’t even here yet, I’m not even willing to give it a chance. Going to lose money on trying to resell it for sure. For a smooth ride, I’d recommend any stroller with air filled tires. For ex bob has a veryyyy easy push double strollers. Had two big kids in it and felt like I was pushing air!
r/daddit • Best double stroller that pushes smooooothly? And has decent basket space? ->I went with Nuna Demi cause I liked the double configurations better. I’ve been told the vista is difficult to push once you have both kids on it. Since the bigger weight is in the front. Butt I have heard that Nuna customer service is trash and uppababy is amazing. So that’s something to keep in mind.
r/Buyingforbaby • Can anyone explain the Uppababy Vista supremacy? ->I bought a Nuna travel system with my first (4 years ago) and am using it again now. I have the Demi grow, which is no longer on the market. But I’ve really liked it. I believe it was replaced by the Mixx. It’s held up well, does decently on different terrains, comfortable to push, easy to fold, feels sturdy. It has the ability to be a double stroller and my tall four year old has climbed in. The only cons we’ve found over the years are: - seat is always slightly reclined which my very curious kid didn’t always love because it impacted his view. - taking the car seat off the stroller is a bit annoying because you have to press and hold buttons on either side of the car seat to lift it off.
