Based on 1 year's data from Feb 18, 2026 How it works
I live in the metro-suburban area of Philly where I’m close enough to the city (10-15min drive) but the stuff that’s walkable to in my area aren’t as nice as the city, so I got the nuna pipa urbn + Demi next bundle. I love it, it’s a travel stroller but their biggest one so it feels like a full size with lots of storage and can easy fold for travel. I love how the infant car seat attaches right into the stroller as well (especially during the colder season) plus I plan on ttc again 18m pp and this stroller converts from a single to a double, it also has a rider board included. The bigger wheels also give the smoothness you were looking for. All in all I really recommend this stroller. It’s a little pricey but I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it and will be able to use it for a long time, plus I feel like all the features are worth it
Personally I really liked the nuna but the seat is a little smaller so I decided in the UB cruz. From online reviews and friends who've gotten it, kids grow out of it sometimes before 2 years old (even smaller for their age kids). I wanted the stroller to ideally last at least until 2-3 years old.
Depends on what you want and what car you have. We have a big SUV and wanted a stroller we could put miles on. We do lots of walks around the neighborhood and in a local bike path. We got the Nuna Demi Next and it’s been amazing. It’s not lightweight and doesn’t fold up small. It is like an SUV stroller. The handle gets higher as well so it’s comfortable for taller people to push.
Nuna double decker, car seats straight onto the stroller was life saving, now that they’re toddlers, the actual stroller seats are also so spacious. the bugaboo looked great but it was 1K more and I did not need the bassinets (would have been a waste of money for me realistically) https://www.littlesproutonline.com/nuna-demi-next-twin-stroller-with-pipa-car-seats/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=20698907227&gbraid=0AAAAADpbJIpSVSx8fnpfzm9Fnqe_pBGBT&gclid=CjwKCAjw1dLDBhBoEiwAQNRiQW09FC_6DKBqZ545r1rw_-6sfMdbgNukidXHx8rocXGncwASuwDUkhoCsX4QAvD_BwE was 2100 when I bought it last year
I’m also a FTM due in May! I chose the Nuna Demi Next stroller with the Nuna Pipa Aire RX car seat. Nuna’s a premium brand so these are both pretty expensive, but there are a lot of options at lower price points with similar features. I was exclusively choosing between Uppababy and Nuna in single-to-double options. Infant bucket seats generally can be used for about the first year. There are height and weight limits, but as soon as your baby maxes out either one of those, you’d need to move up to the next car seat - likely, height will be maxed out before weight. After your baby outgrows the bucket seat, you’ll want a convertible car seat that’s able to be rear facing. Car seats expire 7 years after the manufacturing date, so while you’d technically be fine to buy the convertible seat now, I’d probably wait until next year’s Black Friday sales to purchase it.
To add onto this comment - I also thought the Uppababy Vista’s toddler/infant configuration was weird, so I got the Nuna Demi Next instead. Even that has a slightly odd layout with losing basket space when using it for two kids, but I prefer the infant to be able to be on top.
Kupila sva Nuna Demi Next, in sicer komplet.
I bought the Nuna Demi Next for this reason, in case we have two kids with a small age gap. The configurations are flexible but in the most commonly shown one you have the heavier older kid close to the back wheels looking out (easy steering and also a smaller chance to tip the whole system) and the smaller baby facing the parent at the top. It came with a bassinet and a stroller seat and both of them can fit in either position so there's no need to buy extra attachments. The downside is that it's a bit bulky and doesn't fold as well as a travel stroller, but my husband and I don't own a car so fitting it in the trunk is not a concern and it might be beneficial us to have a sturdy stroller to push on the ice and snow.
BabyBjörn bouncer, Ergobaby Omni Breeze carrier and Nuna Demi Next stroller with bassinet have been worth every cent so far. If I owned a car I would have bought a more lightweight stroller and a travel system compatible car seat. I don't own a baby monitor, camera, bottle warmer, wipe warmer, a formula mixer, bottle washer or a sidecar bassinet, and I haven't felt their absence. We have a changing table but it was a hand me down and not really necessary because we do most diaper changes on the floor on a disposable sheet. The baby can lie on any old blanket during the day and he sleeps in the crib at night. I use ready to use formula, warm the wipes in my hand, use kettle boiled water and a coffee mug to heat up refrigerated breast milk containers, wash bottles in the dishwasher and I use the microwave to sterilize bottles and to heat up formula.
I bought a Nuna Demi Next and I've loved it so far with just one newborn. It's bulky but still easy to maneuver and all the features are nice even if we don't have another child. It came with both the bassinet and the seat so if we end up with 2u2 we can fit both kids in there no problem. It's also travel system compatible but since I don't own a car I skipped the infant car seat. In the stroller the seat actually clips *under* the bassinet on top of the back wheels so the weight is distributed in a way that makes the stroller easy to turn even with 2 kids. However the bassinet and seat can clip in both positions both ways, whichever is preferable. Later on when the bassinet isn't needed anymore I can buy a second seat and there is also a toddler board option if the older one doesn't want to sit down.
We have the nuna pipa urbn which is very similar to the joie mint & liked it a lot! We are in & out of the car a lot as well & switch cars a ton, so that’s helpful too. I’m unsure of joie’s travel systems bc we have nuna. We went with the Demi next which is the bigger one that can fit 2 kids. We ended up buying another stroller once our baby outgrew the infant carrier bc it was too heavy & huge for me to use every day. So I think a smaller stroller is just fine. I do want to add the only issue with travel systems is that your baby shouldn’t be in the car seat out of the car really at all. We only kept him in the car seat if we were stopping somewhere quick & he was asleep. We got the bassinet attachment for the stroller so he wasn’t really in the car seat that much. I’m unsure if that is an option with the joie but something to think about. There could be an adapted that allows other bassinets to work.
Hate the configurations of the vista. Baby basically has to be on the bottom which is the opposite of what makes sense to me- I want my younger child (therefore more likely to need attention) closer to me. With the Demi you basically lose the basket when you use as a double. Bugaboo just dropped the price on the kangaroo so it makes it more apples to apples when you consider the bassinet is included!
We have the Nuna DEMI Next Stroller with Rider Board and I love it!! My daughter is 21 months and loves riding on the rider board, the additional seat or our Nuna car seat are easy to attach. It obviously doesn’t fold up as small as a single stroller but I don’t find it overly large
We will have a 2.5 year age gap between our two. We went with the Nuna DEMI Next with rider board. We actually bought it before I was pregnant with our second but knew we wanted a second. It has been a great single stroller and easily converts to a double
