I live in the metro-suburban area of Philly where I’m close enough to the city (10-15min drive) but the stuff that’s walkable to in my area aren’t as nice as the city, so I got the nuna pipa urbn + Demi next bundle. I love it, it’s a travel stroller but their biggest one so it feels like a full size with lots of storage and can easy fold for travel. I love how the infant car seat attaches right into the stroller as well (especially during the colder season) plus I plan on ttc again 18m pp and this stroller converts from a single to a double, it also has a rider board included. The bigger wheels also give the smoothness you were looking for. All in all I really recommend this stroller. It’s a little pricey but I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it and will be able to use it for a long time, plus I feel like all the features are worth it
Hi, I’m a ftm (36w) and in the same boat as you, we plan on trying at 18m pp like drs recommend. I personally bought the bundle Nuna had with the pipa urban and Demi next seat travel system. It converts from a single to a double but isn’t wide and bulky. I like how it the infant car seat also attaches to the stroller without an adapter for easier travel. I live where it gets cold so I rather transfer the whole car seat than to take baby out just to put them in another car seat. I love how the Demi seat can be used from birth - 50lbs and that there’s a rider board. Idk I personally really love the possibilities with this system which is why I got it and it will be perfect to use early on too since my sister is also pregnant and we aren’t far apart. So I can always test it out early with both my baby and my niece lol
I have the nuna pipa urbn + Demi seat bundle it’s the biggest of their travel system so you feel like you have a full size car seat that is easy to store because it’s compact
No judgement lol. We love the joolz, our main stroller is the demi next with the ride bar and it’s way too bulky and heavy. We did buy the adaptors though, they’re sold separately.
I have a Demi next and the kids are always fighting over who gets the cool bottom seat 🤷♀️
I have the nuna trvl & demi next . Didn’t plan it that way, but that’s how it shaked out! I’ve heard great things about the BOB
I love my trvl nuna. It’s NOT great for off-road/ bumpy sidewalks, though. Better for airport. Flooring. Shopping.
I have 2 nunas!! Trvl Demi next Love them both and comparable with baseless car seat. Just make sure you register for the pipa carseat AND stroller. I made that mistake.
Personally I really liked the nuna but the seat is a little smaller so I decided in the UB cruz. From online reviews and friends who've gotten it, kids grow out of it sometimes before 2 years old (even smaller for their age kids). I wanted the stroller to ideally last at least until 2-3 years old.
Depends on what you want and what car you have. We have a big SUV and wanted a stroller we could put miles on. We do lots of walks around the neighborhood and in a local bike path. We got the Nuna Demi Next and it’s been amazing. It’s not lightweight and doesn’t fold up small. It is like an SUV stroller. The handle gets higher as well so it’s comfortable for taller people to push.
