Likewise, have traveled for a total of over 3 weeks since my baby was 5 months old. It’s a great travel system with the nuna urban and great standalone stroller
r/Buyingforbaby • Best reclining travel stroller? ->We use a Bugaboo Butterfly and Nuna Urban. Great for short walks and we took it on a 20 hour flight across the world. It's great if you have one kid and plan to travel. We might get more of an SUV stroller in the future when we need to take all the toys to the park. We also live in a small apartment so space matters.
r/Buyingforbaby • Anyone just have a travel stroller? ->I also didn't like the Uppababy. The Nuna urbn and Pipa stroller were amazing for travel. Super light stroller and the car seat is easy to click into any car. If you travel at all or take Ubers that car seat is a huge time saver.
r/daddit • Wife is 15 weeks - went down a stroller rabbit hole… ->I got the Nuna pipa urbn & mixx next travel system.. my only regret is just buying the stroller itself and getting a rotating convertible car seat, I didn’t know you can put your infant in there.. I don’t ever use the infant car seat as a stroller because I hate having my baby in there.. so I transfer him all the time, which I have no problem with because it doesn’t wake my baby up if he’s sleeping..
r/BabyBumps • How did you choose a stroller and car seat? ->We got the nuna mixx next travel system with the adapter to put the buns pipa aire infant car seat on. Chose it because of the all terrain option and the fact it can lay flat and should last for quite a while. Easy to fold down and we’ve gone walking with it around the neighborhood with our dogs to get them used to it and it’s really smooth! Rolled over grass just fine too. We watched sooo many YouTube videos and such before we chose.
r/Buyingforbaby • What stroller should I get? ->They definitely can be in the pushchair for quite a while, it will depend on the individual child, I'd assume. Another thing you may want to consider is the use of the bassinet. We got a Nuna Mixx Next travel system (it was £1200 with the car seat base, car seat (ARRA seat), bassinet, and pushchair, with in-laws contributing a large portion of the cost as the baby present). It is a slightly larger version of the Triv Next, with a good all-terrain base. The bassinet is safe to sleep for newborns so we used it as the sleeping space for our daughter in the living room in lieu of a moses basket or another crib solution. For various reasons, it was her primary sleeping space (for day and night sleep) for about 2 months and she was very comfortable in there. We also used the bassinet for overnight sleep when we went away on holiday for a week when she was 4.5 months old so we didn't need a travel cot. An added bonus of using the bassinet as the sleeping space in the living room was the ability to attach a Rockit to the handle so I could outsource the rocking at times 😅. Having seen a lot of different pushchairs and bassinets with babies in them, I'd say that the Nuna bassinet is on the generous side, length-wise, which allowed us to keep using it for somewhat longer than some of the other parents. I know these travel systems are very expensive, but they include the car seat and the car base, which together can be close to £500, and those you'd be looking to buy new anyway. I personally used the pushchair with the bassinet every day for almost five months until my daughter was ready to be sitting up and wanted to be looking out and I was hugely grateful for having a premium travel system that is easy to use, easy to collapse and take apart, and one I could use in so many ways.
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • Prams ->Second this! We have the Nuna Mixx Next and I love it and my daughter seems to find it comfortable. If you are generally happy with Nuna, I'd recommend simply upgrading to the latest pushchair model, especially as you can find some great offers online.
r/BeyondTheBumpUK • HELP with buying a stroller ->We went for the Nuna Mixx bundle because of its Greenguard gold certification :) it also happened to be our favourite pram on display in mamas & papas! My partner assembled the parts and he even said there was little/no smell when unboxing, and if there was, it went away very quickly! We’re letting it all air out as a precaution before baby’s arrival <3
r/moderatelygranolamoms • stroller that can sit up/ lay flat + made of organic/ natural materials ->Had a secondhand Bugaboo Chameleon with our first and it was really fantastic, we had quite a few extras included luckily, they get very pricey. After a couple of house moves we got rid of it before our second. We then got the Nuna Mixx Next which comes with all the extras and is very reasonably priced so that was great but I still preferred the Bugaboo. Definitely go and test at Babypark. Congratulations 🎊
r/TheHague • (Baby) Stroller Experiences. Recommendations? ->We got the Nuna Mixx Next, we live in London. It’s been on many a bus, train, tube, black cab as well as several planes to various other countries. It’s still in great condition after our first and we’re about to get the bassinet back out for our second. Highly recommend.
r/UKParenting • Best city stroller with bassinet for newborn? ->I got the Nuna Next for this exact reason, seemed like the best compromise and it’s worked really well for us for the last 2.5 years including multiple holidays.
r/UKParenting • Pushchair reccs! ->But the actual stroller seat can’t be switched around like it can on, for example, the Nuna Mix Next. So as soon as they’re out of the infant car seat and in the normal stroller seat, they’re forward all the time.
r/Buyingforbaby • Alright, what's the catch.... ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
