I loveee my nuna tavo. Folds easily, super light, carseat clicks right in for easy transport when baby is little, great on all terrain, and has 3 diff modes.
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->See if you can find a used Baby Jogger City Mini to use for your trip and resell afterwards (or keep!). I got one for free second hand from a coworker. Didn’t think much of it, but MAN can that thing handle all the bumps and crazy tree roots in our neighborhood. We can take it on trails even. It’s slimmer than our main stroller (Nuna Tavo), less storage space, but handles amazingly well. Our Nuna is actually terrible at getting over tree roots or uneven sidewalks.
r/Mommit • Should we bring our main stroller to Italy? ->I went with the nuna tavo because I’m not really worried about the weight and it’s very all in one. If you’re looking for something small and light it’s definitely not the move but I love being able to either pop her car seat on for quick trips or lie it flat in bassinet mode for longer strolls. It also steers beautifully and has a nice sized basket and lots of ventilation. It’s pretty sizable but it does everything I need it to!
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->We tested them out at a local baby store. All our friends have the Uppa baby and we tested it but we HATED it. It felt so heavy, we liked the nuna and bugaboo and ultimately chose bugaboo because with dual stroller the bassinet is on top so you can see your newborn, where as nuna (and uppa) put the bassinet on the bottom???
r/pregnant • HOW DO I PICK A TRAVEL SYSTEM?! ->Got a 5 week old and also have a Nuna just started properly using it and so far it’s really good. We got the full travel system frame, bassinet, stroller 6m+ and car seat with swivel base etc. we decided on the Nuna because it is so simple to use. They are on the expensive side but for something we’ll be using for years felt it was worth the investment. But go and have a good play with them all 👍🏻
r/NewDads • Stroller recommendations ->Have the Nuna tavo. Love it bc it’s so easy to use with the Nuna rx car seat. You can also lay the seat completely flat and has buttons on the feet, so it acts Iike a bassinet. Really didn’t want to buy a bassinet bc it felt like a waste of money. Also think about how the weather will be when your baby is born. It’s great in the wintertime to move the car seat into the stroller and cover her up completely to stay warm.
r/Mommit • What stroller (or other big ticket item) did you prefer and why? ->She's my best friend since we were 5. My stuff is very gently used. My nuna stroller and carsest don't look like the ones you see online. They were both from 2023. Brand new and super clean. My son luckily never had blowouts or even puked on them. I tried selling and offers were 200. No one wanted to pay over 200. It was over 1k retail. I'm not being that nice to a stranger who could most likely afford it but just wants a deal.
r/Mommit • WTF is UP with people trying to sell *used* baby clothes/gear for 75% of the original retail price? ->We have a Cybex Gazelle because we know we want a second!! I did a lot of research comparing strollers and I feel that Cybex Gazelle is the best single-to-double for our needs. We also bought a Nuna Tavo for travel from Facebook Marketplace for $150, which his car seat can snap into, and we take it to the airport with us and gate check it. We’re not super concerned about it because it was used, but it’s a great stroller!
r/NewParents • Strollers ->Also I don’t know about the TRVL, but the strollers we got is the Tavo, which I guess is full size but doesn’t have a removable seat (which is nice because once you get to your location, you can just leave the car seat in the hotel and use the stroller as a stroller.) The Graco SnugRide clips right into it, and it’s $119 on Amazon right now.
r/Buyingforbaby • Nuna Trvl vs Doona ->We bought a Numa stroller to go with our car seat, and recently a GB pocket air. We really regret the numa since it was expensive, is massive, and we never use it. Whenever we go places or on neighborhood walks, I always just carry our son in the carrier. The Numa has been used once, so we’re trying to sell it. We’re hoping to travel more with the little guy this year, so that’s what prompted the much cheaper GB pocket purchase. Folds up really small so you don’t need to check it on the plane. Will probably be our main stroller if we ever need one when not traveling too.
r/NewParents • What kind of/how many strollers do people have? ->I also had my eyes set on vista v3 but when we actually checked it out at snugglebugz we found it was very heavy. We went with a Nuna Tavo which was lightweight and folded easily. Though I would not recommend the Tavo for anything other than city roads
r/BabyBumpsCanada • Stroller Recommendations [on] ->Like you I also wanted to get the latest uppababy when I was pregnant and looking for a stroller. However, when I actually went to the store, I realized it was so so heavy and bulky that it would be a workout taking it out of the trunk and putting it back. I ended up with the Nuna Tavo travel system which was much lighter and glided so smoothly. I think like others have mentioned you might need to get two strollers for your purposes but I’d definitely recommend you get a lighter weight stroller
r/BabyBumpsCanada • [QC] Do I really need the Uppababy travel system? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
