Nuna - Tavo Next

I actually love my nuna tavo next for these reasons: 1. Sturdy enough wheels to push. 2. It’s regular seat converts as a bassinet. 3. No need for any adapters. 4. Car seat goes on top of regular seat. 5. Honestly, price wise it was great among the “better brands” 6. It’s handle height can be adjusted when needed. 7. We are tall and found some other brands putting too much strain my postpartum back when I had to bend. 8. Easy to close and open. Cons: it is heavy We are probably going to get a travel stroller for traveling. But did Niagara Falls and NYC with nuna tavo, stroller was great except for putting it in and out of cars.

We have the Nuna TAVO Next and PIPA car seat, and we love both! Dillard’s always has [past season Nuna products](https://www.dillards.com/brand/Nuna) at a discount, which is where we got our car seat. My friend has the Mockingbird and it didn’t feel great in comparison.

Seconding this. My small-for-gestational-age and small at birth baby fits fine in the Nuna Tavo Next when it's reclined flat and I'm really glad we didn't waste $$ on a bassinet stroller.

We got the Tavo for the slightly bigger basket/size and it’s perfect! Handles all kinds of terrain well - gravel, dirt, sidewalk, grass. It can be made into a bassinet which we utilized quite a bit on a trip at 4 months. Worked perfectly. She still loves it at 18 months!

Also I don’t know about the TRVL, but the strollers we got is the Tavo, which I guess is full size but doesn’t have a removable seat (which is nice because once you get to your location, you can just leave the car seat in the hotel and use the stroller as a stroller.) The Graco SnugRide clips right into it, and it’s $119 on Amazon right now.

Like you I also wanted to get the latest uppababy when I was pregnant and looking for a stroller. However, when I actually went to the store, I realized it was so so heavy and bulky that it would be a workout taking it out of the trunk and putting it back. I ended up with the Nuna Tavo travel system which was much lighter and glided so smoothly. I think like others have mentioned you might need to get two strollers for your purposes but I’d definitely recommend you get a lighter weight stroller

And if you really into budget limits but need only stroller and for a long period of time, you should definitely look at [Inglesina strollers](https://www.dillards.com/p/inglesina-quid-lightweight-travel-stroller/520492858?inf=909722577). Nuna is the best for sure! You can have it even for your grand kids or re-sell later on for a good price!

You’re probably not going to find one complete set that fits all of your needs - this is the constant stroller dilemma. There are so many different needs. As a wonderful complete set though, I’d recommend the nuna pipa urbn with the nuna tavo - not technically a travel stroller and will need to be checked, but it folds up really easily and the nuna pipa urbn has no base, so it’s easy for travel. Not to mention the safety ratings of nuna car seats is top notch.

I definitely enjoy my evenflo swivel 360. However, I do think it's beneficial to start with an infant car seat because if you get a baseless one, the child can be transferred from one car to another without hassle for those first couple months while you figure how life is without a baby. You can take them inside the house in the car seat if they're asleep without waking them-but for safety don't leave them in the car seat sleeping unsupervised. If you're thrifty, you can buy a stroller that's compatible with your stroller second hand. I personally chose the Nuna PIPA infant car seat and TAVO stroller combo which is about $700 right now. The pipa light was super light and easier to carry cuz I have short trex arms. The TAVO stroller can definitely be used after transitioning out the infant car seat. Used it for two rounds of kiddos as well! Good luck and congrats

I have the nuna tavo system, it's the cheapest system that nuna sells and we love it. $800 or so and includes the car seat which is $350 or so alone. It clicks right into the stroller with no adapter. It reclines but we never used that, neither of our kids tolerated bassinet settings, they both preferred to be worn for a walks until 6 months. That's another consideration with looking for a stroller with too many add ons, your kid might hate them all.
