I got the bundle of the nuna pipa urbn + Demi next, this is their bigger one and you can get one that is more lightweight and compact but I personally like the one we got as it has a lot of storage underneath and with bigger wheels it goes over bumps smoother. Pipa urbn (infant car seat) can attach to it which is easier when we have dr appts we can leave baby in car seat and attach the whole car seat in stroller for the days when you drive (this is super helpful as it’s super cold where I live rn) or you can just use the Demi next seat which can be used from birth to 50lbs and reclines back pretty far that I didn’t buy the bassinet attachment for the stroller. My baby personally loves being in it, as soon as we buckle her in she calms down and ends up falling asleep lol. Another reason I got it is because I plan on having another once I past the 18m pp and this system converts from a single to a double with a rider board included as well. It’s a little pricey but I know I’m gonna get a lot of use out of it. Edit: with this being their biggest system it’s still really lightweight.

FTM 2w pp — I got the nuna pipa urban x2 + Demi next bundle and the nuna exec next. It’s pricey but I think it’s worth it. The bundle I got comes with 2 infant car seats that fit right into the travel stroller (single to double stroller as well) and the Demi seat can be used from birth to 50lbs. The travel size stroller is the biggest one they have, it’s one hand fold with bigger wheels and storage than most travel strollers, it also comes with a rider board too. The Demi seat can also recline back almost all the way which is why I decided not to get the bassinet attachment because I was debating on getting that as well. We have two cars as well and I know my family will want to take baby out as it gets warmer (also have a little niece on the way so our kids are gonna be like 2 months apart). Also, plan on ttc baby #2 around 18m pp when I get the okay from my OB. They have a bundle that comes with only one car seat as well. My lease on my car ends soon and once it does we were thinking of getting a bigger more permanent car which is when I’ll install the nuna exec next in there as it’s a convertible car seat that works from infant all the way to booster. I like both the seats because it’s baseless, so traveling with the infant car seat and the stroller has been super easy and convenient.

We have the mixx also! We got the mixx and pipa urban travel system. The wheels on the double feel plenty sturdy. They’re also made of foam not air so if they puncture there’s no issue. There was a nail sticking out of one of them last week after a walk through a construction area and I just pulled it out and didn’t impact it at all

i'm on the uws with a 12-day-old and i'm obsessed with the nuna pipa urbn flex system. lil dude was a late term preemie so we have lots of doctor's appointments (during this wild cold/post-storm, no less) and getting that sucker and out of ubers has been seamless — it either anchors in with the hooks or can be looped in with a seatbelt in 30 seconds or less. the thing glides like a dream too. i'm a first time mom so i've been super nervous and am glad this thing lives up to its promises!

So this will make your decision harder, but I decided against the urbn for 3 reasons. 1) 90th percentile height babies for us means car seat will not last long, 2) I just refuse to believe that not using a base is as safe as a baseless car seat, 3) PLUS you loose the nice recline options that come with a base.

I have the nuna pipa urbn and stroller combo. Also had a bit of sticker shock when I got it, no idea these things could cost so much. For me, the nuna felt better in basically all the categories when compared to other brands I shopped against. materials, sturdiness/construction, suspension, lock mechanisms, adjustability, comfort features all seemed more intuitive and well thought out on the nuna. I started shopping from graco combos at $400 to chiccos as a step up, but finally ended up with the nuna based on fit & finish and overall build quality.

We have the Swiv (my husband really wanted the Swiv feature, but I think the Twiv is fine) and our neighborhood does not have sidewalks or smooth roads and it is fine. But we also know no different... My name is Harriet as well :)

Nuna is awesome for the comfort and quality of the BUCKLES. You’re going to be adjusting straps and buckles at least twice, every time you leave the house. To me, it’s been totally worth it to have quality pieces instead of flimsy plastic. I don’t know Graco specifically, but Nuna even beats uppababy quality which surprised me when I’ve used them… We have the Nuna mixx and while I love it, didn’t realize the Trv is nearly as good and much easier to carry and fold. I believe their Trv Lx model is even more similar to the Mixx but lightweight. I’d just confirm - how thick is the seat padding, and does it lie flat? Having a lie flat stroller has made our first year SO much easier. Baby can nap on the go and we could actually get a moment’s peace in a restaurant. Also, too many places have no changing station or you realize they’re super dirty… you can pretty easily and privately change baby with a pad in the stroller.

We LOVE the Nuna mix, but it is kind of heavy to fold and carry. You can fold it and pull it on its back wheels, if you’re in an apartment vs loading into a car trunk. I wish we’d gotten the triv for lightness and an easier fold, but I’d compare the thickness of padding between the seats as maybe there is a difference between travel stroller and full size. From a glance, it didn’t seem like it to me! The thing about travel strollers you have to watch out for is that most come with a tiny back wheel, thin padding, and are shorter. The padding matters for baby’s comfort, and the wheel size and height really make a difference on your arms getting fatigued when you push, or going over curbs and bumps.

We are going with the triv LX. Lightweight, parent facing option, all terrain wheels and a lay flat recline. You can attach the bassinet but we don't want to have to purchase that extra. You do have to buy the car seat with this option. If you don't want to buy the car seat, I'd go with the SWIV. Push on both the Swiv and the TRIV lx are way better than regular triv which we found rickety.
