I love my Nuna Triv Next. We bought the bassinet but only used it with the stroller a couple of times because the car seat just made more sense. She slept in the bassinet every night til she outgrew it at 3 months though, so still worth it.

I have the nuna triv next & like it but don’t love it. We have a silver cross reef for our main stroller & bassinet (I believe it’s an EU brand) and we love that one. The nuna is sort of cheap feeling & doesn’t have very good suspension when comparing the two. It’s still a great stroller but because I have (imo a better one) I don’t think it’s as amazing as the internet makes it seem 😆 I almost wish we’d gotten the nuna mixx or Demi but I’ve seen how the footrest sags on the mixx after a while of use since there’s no frame to support it, and the Demi was just way too big when I tried it out in store.

We have a nuna triv and plan on using it as our primary stroller. We also have a silver cross reef for big/long walks in our neighborhood & uppababy minu for travel. I think the triv is big enough for daily/regular use but it’s light enough that I can carry it & it doesn’t feel super heavy. We got it as an unexpected gift from a friend, so we already had the other two prior 💀 otherwise I think we could’ve been ok with just the triv! The only thing I dislike about it is that the baby feels like they’re kinda low to the ground. With the nuna mixx and silver cross the seat is a big higher but idk if that’s a deal breaker for everyone or just me lol.

We love the Triv Next!! I ended up getting that with the Nuna Pipa RX. I will say the car seat wasn't my favorite, as the buckle was really hard to undo and our baby got really big really quickly, so I feel like she grew out of it sooo quickly. She was in the 90th percentile since her first month of birth 😅 but we loved the stroller and still use it weekly (she just turned a year old last month).

I have the Nuna Triv Next and would say it's not suitable for what you need. It's my "big" pushchair. It's definitely not the lightest and is a bit chunky when folded up. I had to get a bigger car as there was no space for anything else in the boot!

We love our nuna triv next - very easy to use on the go. I can very easily one hand fold/setup.

He should have shown interest sooner. You have no idea what someone will contribute or what they won't. IMO a good stroller is worth it. We went with a nuna system and don't regret a single penny spent. I tried the vista from FB marketplace and resold it ASAP that thing was not for us in the slightest. I haven't tried the bugaboo strollers but have the bugaboo giraffe high chair and that thing is QUALITY. It looks brand new after daily use. Our toddler still uses it as a chair at the table. I love it so much I would invest in a second without a doubt if our toddler is still using it when this baby needs a highchair. If their strollers are the same quality then I don't see how this wouldn't be a good investment. Higher quality baby items also have great resale value. IF you want to compromise, could you look at goodbuygear, rebel, or one of the other open box retailers? I just did a quick google search and it looks like there might be some options available in the \~900 range. I have used those sites for other items and have had amazing experiences. I got a babyletto recliner and a nestig foot stool that were both brand new for very good prices.

I have the Nuna Triv next and a Joolz aer+. I used the Nuna from birth and am still using it at 19 months almost daily. I got the Joolz when my daughter was 7 months old as the Nuna got too heavy with her to use on the tube by myself. So when I’m staying close to home or just going on the bus somewhere near I’ll use the Nuna. Going anywhere else or travelling abroad I’ve used the Joolz. I really like it and it’s super easy to fold and can go in the hold if you ever go on a plane etc.

I have a Nuna Triv next and also a Joolz aer+. It sounds like what you want is the Joolz to be honest. I do love my Nuna but I only use it in my local area/dog walks, I live in a house so very rarely fold it or have to carry it. When I’m going further away/on the tube(I live in zone 2 of London)/on flights etc I use my Joolz. It’s easy to fold with one hand (unlike the yoyo) and so I can fold it whilst holding my daughter as well. I would highly recommend the Joolz aer+ or aer2.

We have a Nuna Triv Next. Possibly not the lightest but certainly not heavy, it's suitable from birth even without the carrycot and has one-handed operation for putting up and down.

I had similar criteria and decided on the Nuna Triv Next with their Pipa Aire Rx infant car seat and also the bassinet.  My baby is 3 months now and I take him out on my own all the time. I’m petite and wanted something light, easy to handle, and one-handed fold. I love the bassinet for walks and any time we are out for extended periods of time. We also use it as a sleep space for baby while traveling. We’ll be using this set up for our March trip to NYC as well.

I thought I was going to want Uppababy, but went to try out strollers in person and decided on the Nuna Triv Next. It was lightweight, easy one handed fold, easy to maneuver, able to gate check - I knew I’d be on a lot of adventures on my own with baby. Also I already knew I wanted the Nuna Pipa infant car seat. For me, UB ended up feeling too bulky and not intuitive when it came to folding. We do a lot of walks on grass, gravel, sidewalks. Taken many road trips and car errands. Had other family handle the stroller when babysitting. Baby is now 4.5 months and we’ll be taking him to NYC in a couple months too. I don’t think it converts to 2 but I know there are other comparable model for that.  When I was pregnant we weren’t sure about a second baby so we just decided to choose for the one baby we were sure about.

Tbh, I don’t remember haha. If I had to guess it was probably a weight thing for me plus the shop owner trying to help with our decision fatigue and just telling us “based on what you’ve told me this is the one I recommend” at that point it felt like splitting hairs to me so we were just fine with anything that would help me make a decision haha  The LX looks great too! I’m sure I would have loved that model too. That said, I’m really happy with the Triv Next and I don’t ever find myself lusting after other strollers or wishing I had something different.

Get what you want! You’ll be using it all the time so you deserve to enjoy its look and ease of use.  I’m also in CA, and did a fair amount of research. Most of all I wanted something light and one handed fold since I am smaller, not very strong, and wanted to have an easy time taking baby out on my own. I decided on the Nuna Triv Next, Pipa Aire RX, and bassinet. I did not know there was a stereotype that nuna moms are extra 🤷🏻‍♀️ My parents really wanted to cover the cost as their baby shower gift and said I could choose what I wanted. It was not cheap - probably $1500+ all together. Also, I’ve gotten sooo many things free from Buy Nothing and cheap on marketplace (including all of my baby’s clothes from newborn to 18 months) which somehow makes me feel better.  My baby is 12 weeks old now and I love using my Nuna system and never think about using anything else. I’ve gone on many adventures with just me and my baby. If you want it, just do it!

If cost is not an issue, definitely Nuna. Lighter, easier fold, more intuitive to use, better suspension and handling imo
