Hi! Babies are 14m apart and we’ve been using the Nuna trvl double (side by side) and LOVE it. Goes through every door way, can fold and lift into my car with one hand, car seat clicks in (I have the Nuna infant seat) and both of the seats lay flat so by the time baby was 3ish months old I had her in the actual seat for walks and such!

Was also considering this! Do you find it flimsy? I thought to upgrade to bigger wheels I had the nuna trvl double and that thing was so unsafe and flipped on us so we returned it. This looks similar but unsure if its safer and wont flip Alternative is baby jogger double stroller but that is bulky for sure

The Nuna Trvl Double completely collapsed into itself late last year when my son-in-law was pushing my grandbabies (19 mnths and 6 months), they both fell face first onto the pavement (cuts & bruises on their faces and arms), fortunately a bunch of people stopped to help. Needless to say, hard no on the Nuna, and they have the Nuna single trvl which they love and still use. They replaced it with the Vista double side-by-side and have had zero problems, super sturdy and nice smooth ride, and they use it every day. Also narrow enough to pass through city doorways.

I personally hated the double stroller. I have two (12 months apart) and I just hate how heavy, wide and hard to get around it is. I had the nuna trvl double and it was hard to get around even in Whole Foods, I couldn’t imagine trying to get into a restaurant. I use our single nuna trvl and carrier which I like better. My toddler will walk most of the time, in which I then swap them out.

I’ve never had it tip over or even come close to it…. I suppose if the toddler was trying to hang from the handle bar with all their weight, maybe. But just don’t let them? Lol. We haven’t had any issue with that!

We have the nuna trvl double and ours are 17 months apart. Literally our most used item by far lol can’t recommend it enough. I went down the double stroller rabbit hole and had essentially the same needs as you and everything else came out to a similar price by the time you got the nuna adapter for the infant seat. So I say go with nuna double - have yet to run into a doorway that it’s too wide for

We have a 21 month old and 2 month old and we use our Nuna travel double stroller several times per week. We can plop our Nuna carseat in effortlessly while our toddler is on the other side.

Valco Slim Twin and Nuna TRVL Dubl Both lightweight, pack up easily, and fit through doorways without a worry. Enough accessories for us and our kids. Started with the Valco and ended up buying the Nuna as an upgrade pic that we kept in the car for around town. The Valco - especially with the upgraded sport wheels - is a good “around the neighborhood” double.

I didn’t read all the posts before posting mine but…I’m a midtown girl with two kids now. Someone mentioned that strollers are very neighborhood specific. In midtown, I need agility, need to fit on buses and trains and need a super easy fold to fit in my apartment hallway. Also wanted good handling for broken sidewalks and inconsistent ramps. A decent basket was a plus. I chose the Nuna TRVL. Not cheap but has a bit more heft and bigger wheels than the butterfly and aer. (Though the butterfly improvements are intriguing to me). Downside to TRVL is it’s not guaranteed to fit in an airplane overhead bin. We’ve fit it twice internationally but haven’t tried domestic/smaller planes. The TRVL handles really well. I’ve gotten so used to popping up the front wheels when I see something uneven. It’s second nature now. Because you can hit something and come to an abrupt stop. The basket is big enough for a trip to the grocery store. And when you have a kid in the stroller, you can hang a bag or backpack on the handles. But remove it before taking your kid out or the stroller will tip. It’s light enough to carry up and down stairs but I don’t want to carry it super long. The fold is the best on the market. Literally folds itself and stands up well. I researched a ton and even ended up with the TRVL double when baby two came. I love the TRVL as my daily stroller and don’t think it gets enough love. I could never deal with a big stroller. I don’t love using my double stroller as I just take up way too much room in the world. Ha. All this being said, I also have the GB pockit for airplane travel and trips that we want to be super minimal. But the fold and push is way more cumbersome. Not a good daily stroller at all.

I got the Nuna rava and skipped the bucket car seat. Then for the stroller we went with the nuna travel xl. It can come down into bassinet style, the storage basket is pretty big, the fold is so easy. It’s just a button and it folds itself. You can do it with one hand and baby in the other. It’s light and stores nicely in the car. It also rides very smooth. I have tried the uppa baby vista 2 style strollers while nannying and while they do ride smooth on walks, traveling with them is an absolute pain especially with babies. If you have a local baby store or even Nordstrom has test strollers I highly recommend going there and trying them out for yourself. That way you can see what would be practical for your lifestyle and what you prefer.

All double strollers are bulky, but we've been really happy with our Nuna Travl double. It's well-made, less than half the weight of an Uppa with the rumble seat, and has good storage underneath. I'd hit up albee baby and check it out along with the new Uppa double equiv if you're dead-set on having a double. We have an 11 month old and a 3.5 year old. Sometimes we throw a baby carrier under the single stroller and use that to carry the 11 month old if the 3.5 year old is too tired to walk and needs the stroller.

We have a vista for the big stroller and a Bugaboo butterfly for a small stroller. With our second we also recently picked up the Nuna Travl double. Bugaboo butterfly is the best trafvel stroller to answer your question. Fits in overhead bin. Wheels and build are good. fits full size kid. Has decent basket underneath. Go to Albee baby on UWS and demo the options.... plus they'll give you 20% off if you buy in store.

We have a vista and a Bugaboo butterfly. We live in Brooklyn heights. Bought the vista because we planned to have more than one. Have a second now and the vista kind of sucks as a double stroller. So for a double we got a Nuna Travl double. It’s a bit bananas, but it works well for us. Happy to answer any questions you have or delve more into why I possibly could justify having 3 absurd strollers.
