We went with the swiv and pippa rx. But will be also buying a bassinet. We do not plan on getting a different stroller. We decided not to go w the vista bc of how heavy and big it was, and space was our concern. But also, the ability to move to a double is nice but our mom friends said it wasn’t an ideal double based on what they need. We decided to optimize for this bebe. We are traveling when she is two months and it seems like a lot to bring everything to the airport (carseat and stroller). We thought, man a doona would have been nice for travel, but not enough to fret about it further.

Wish I knew that the bassinet option would be something I would really want for walks with a newborn. I got the Nuna Mixx which lays flat for newborns but I never use it because it just doesn't feel as secure or safe as using the carseat for walks. We're also planning to get a Thule for hiking once baby is a little older. Other than that, I love the Nuna Mixx. It's very stylish. I feel it's super sturdy and easy to manuever. We also have the Pipa Rx and it just fits everything so we'll.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. Baby carriers when used properly are incredible- Baby carrying also counts as tummy time and helped significantly with our situation of torticollis. Our physical therapist for baby really really encouraged baby wearing all the time- For the baby carrier I really have enjoyed the nuna, it’s super structured and gave me confidence wearing it and didn’t hurt my back at all. I used the carrier more than the stroller because it’s much easier to get in and out of the car and much easier to navigate baby around doctors offices etc. we went with the pipa rx car seat and matching stroller that you can attach with the car seat- love the stroller but didn’t necessarily need the car seat availability for it because I never used it. I wish I invested in a longer lasting car seat to be honest instead of one shell outgrow within a year or so. Both the carrier and stroller are usually at Nordstrom sale upcoming.

The Nuna Trvl Double completely collapsed into itself late last year when my son-in-law was pushing my grandbabies (19 mnths and 6 months), they both fell face first onto the pavement (cuts & bruises on their faces and arms), fortunately a bunch of people stopped to help. Needless to say, hard no on the Nuna, and they have the Nuna single trvl which they love and still use. They replaced it with the Vista double side-by-side and have had zero problems, super sturdy and nice smooth ride, and they use it every day. Also narrow enough to pass through city doorways.

I personally hated the double stroller. I have two (12 months apart) and I just hate how heavy, wide and hard to get around it is. I had the nuna trvl double and it was hard to get around even in Whole Foods, I couldn’t imagine trying to get into a restaurant. I use our single nuna trvl and carrier which I like better. My toddler will walk most of the time, in which I then swap them out.

I knew we would want to do a lot with our kid and wasn’t sure if I should get one stroller to “do it all” or multiple with specific purposes in mind. We ended up getting two, one small super lightweight and one large jogging stroller and I’m so glad we did. The lightweight Nuna Trvl is perfect for the grocery store, coffee shop, mall etc and our jogger (Thule urban glide) is amazing for all our outdoor trips, walks in the park, etc. Instead of having one middle ground, I’m so glad we have two very different options that work for our specific wants. Also we got both on sale so it worked out. The urban glide 2 we got at an REI garage sale for only $280!

I’m really big on buying the stroller you need for your lifestyle. We ended up with a Trvl and I’m so glad we did. It has an extremely comfortable smooth ride but it’s crazy lightweight and maneuverable. We knew we would want to do a lot outdoors and got a Thule urban glide second hand. The Nuna is used so much for all our errands and the jogger is perfect for everything else. I’d ask yourself what are you wanting to do with baby and then go from there

I totally considered the Triv because I’m sure it has a more cushioned ride than the Trvl (bigger tires), more storage and the seat can be reversed…. but ultimately the Trvl is lighter and easier to get through a store, in and out of the car, etc. plus it’s less expensive. If you want an all around stroller I’d go with the Triv but I wanted two strollers each perfect for their task and so the Trvl was best for us. Regarding air travel, we bought a Mamazing Air Ultra secondhand for our upcoming trip to Hawaii for only $60. I can’t say how it will do yet but I am happy not taking the Nuna since it’s our daily more pricy stroller.

I would get a reduced price v2 if that’s an option still. Or maybe a used one. I guess my point is that, Id get a v2 or v3, but definitely try to get a deal. We have the vista, aria car seat and the minu v2 and it’s a great combo. The bassinet can go on the vista and the minu (but not on the newest minu). The aria car seat can click into either frame, although you really don’t want to use the car seat for daily walks. Along with the bassinet stand it’s a really sweet set up. I saw you mentioned the Nuna urban car seat and stroller elsewhere in the thread. We have the Trvl stroller and the urban baseless car seat and they’re not great. The stroller was rickety within 6 months of very light use and the seat pops up really easily off the car seat. It’s convenient and obviously passed safety tests, but I don’t think it’s as secure as a full seat with a base and load leg. Also the weight limit is pretty low so you’ll be swapping over to the convertible seat pretty quickly. As far as weight goes, I don’t think the Vista is terribly heavy. I’m disabled and can load the thing in and out of the car from a wheelchair fwiw. Initially it’s absolutely awful. I hated it in store and it seemed bulky and heavy and I had all of the common complaints you see online. But, once you know how to disassemble it, it really isn’t a big deal. The weight distribution is a little different so you’ll basically want to practice a couple times until you find the spots on the frame that work for you to lift it smoothly. Within a week it was nothing to pack it up and go. We travel with ours internationally on the regular and use the travel bag system. We’re now using it for 2 kids and it’s ok for that. The steering isn’t brilliant, but I did like not having to buy an entirely new system.

You may like the Minu if you’re using it a lot. It will fit in the backseat easily and is pretty sturdy for a travel stroller. We have the V2 and it’s nice for using during car based errands. We also have the Trvl and I wouldn’t recommend this one because it gets rickety pretty fast. Can’t speak to the upgraded version as ours is the base version. It’s also bigger when folded than a lot of the others on your list. At least if the base Trvl is still pulling you in, you may want to check out the version from Joie since it’s cheaper.

We got the Nuna TRVL stroller because I could fold it with one hand and lift it over my head when I was pregnant (yes, this is how I tested if I would be able to manage it post-pregnancy). It does great in the city. There’s a lot of noise about stroller wheels and city sidewalks but I think it’s just fluff. We’ve taken ours on unpaved trails, all over the city and subway, airplanes and trains. We get points at our kid’s daycare because ours folds up where the stroller room gets jam packed with Vistas that don’t collapse. Ours has a 1.5x3’ footprint folded up, Vistas are like five feet long and three feet wide.

We got the Nuna trvl system. It has a baseless car seat that sat on the stroller. We used this instead of getting one of those gigantic Uppa Baby strollers with the bassinet. Until our son was old enough to sit up on his own, we used the car seat to take him everywhere in the stroller. He’s just about outgrown the car seat and it stays down in our storage unit.

We have loved our Nuna pipa/TRVL system! It’s so convenient. Also def recommend getting the house deep cleaned right before baby comes! It was so nice to not have to worry about things being dirty for a bit lol.

We have a nuna trvl and a chicco corso LE. Car systems are about the same, but the chicco is SOOO much sturdier and I think the chicco system was about $500. The nuna travel system was around 800ish? Two fold. I love nuna for travels. So easy to fold, light weight. Therefore, makes the chicco bulky but sturdy. I take nuna for NYC subway rides. And the car seat is 10/10 worth it. I take chicco to the pumpkin patches and the tulip patches. My husband is 6’3” and stronger than me, he LOVES the chicco and thinks the nuna will fall part of it gets yanked too fast lmao. Honestly, if I ever do this again, I’d probably do the same, one and one. If space allows. Nowadays we spend so much time finding “one” but there’s nothing wrong with two!! Also- the chicco is bulky and husbands preference so he keeps it in his car!

Comes down to what you need it for. I travel a lot and we live in the city. So I have 2. Nuna TRVL with the pipa seat. Excellent for travel bc it doesn’t need a base and the stroller is LIGHT. which we need at airports and in the city. However I have chicco corso LE system that was only $649 (compared to my nuna travel system and the inserts I bought put me right at $1000). Corso LE is nice, but better built for terrain. However I went to visit my sister and she has something from Walmart, $140. Very functional, for her needs. Stay at home person, doesn’t travel at all. She likes to baby wear. So the stroller is holding up good for her. I tried it, it was heavy, bulky, suspension was horrible, the canopy was too flimsy. You won’t know what you don’t have unless you own one of these first. THEN go try a simple one. If I had the simple one like my sister I bet you I wouldn’t have cared about suspension. lol.
