The Phil & Teds Duo Sport is decent for everyday use, but for actual jogging it can feel a bit heavy and less stable at pace. If you’re planning to run regularly, models like the Thule Urban Glide 2 Double or Out’n’About Nipper Double are much better for jogging – smoother ride, easier to steer, and lighter to push. Both also fold reasonably compactly. Since you’ll sometimes run with just the baby, check that the pram handles well with uneven weight distribution. Also worth measuring your boot space before buying – some doubles are long when folded.

Honestly I would just use the money to get an OutNabout double stroller. You can get either a newborn insert or a newborn part for it whichever suits your budget. I love mine as its so easy to control and push. In saying that I am still also using the uppababy vista as my youngest doesn't like to be facing away from me he completely freaks out. My toddler is also a big lad and the OutNabout is perfect for him so much room and cosy. I can't lift the uppababy up on curbs as he's to heavy so we're constantly looking for flat ground. As soon as my youngest feels happy facing away from me I'll be using my OutNabout all the time :) I know I just gave a load of pros and cons but maybe you'll relate in a few months. I have 19 months between mine.

I have both! These are my third and fourth kids so I knew exactly what I wanted haha. I have a front/back one mainly for the school run or short trips out which is exclusively for the cat seat attachments. No way I was hauling babies in and out of car seats into bassinets three times a day. My favourite is my side by side running/hiking pram with bassinet attachments though. I much prefer this, and it’s designed to fit through a standard door so it’s not too much of an issue. In 5 months there’s only been a couple of places it didn’t fit. I’m guessing you are in the US but for any Uk based I would recommend the out n about double so highly! I’ve used the single and double (with my two other kids and now the twins) for years and it’s amazing.

I have an out n about double nipper, it’s definitely the best for country walks, I live in a town and love using it day to day too. The seats are nice and big too. However I didn’t really use my double until my youngest was about 6 months as I found it easier to use a sling and a single.

Yep, but due to it being three wheels if you go up a curb or similar it can feel a little off balance.

Refurbished products tend to be available midday on Fridays. Also the out n about doubles are a great size and fit through so many doorways.
