Peg Perego - City Loop Frame Only

If you want something just to hop in and out with for errands, get the Peg Perego City Loop. It basically turns your car seat into a Doona and there is a toddler seat available for purchase when it’s time. Very sturdy for a stroller that size. Mine fits between the back of the front seat and the car seat but I’m guessing that varies between cars. I’ve been VERY happy with it! In a similar situation with the 2nd floor! Also first time solo mom! My parking is a little bit of a walk so I needed something easy to get to the house but then lightweight to get up the stairs. Doona was out- the safety ratings scared me but also so heavy. I got the Peg Perego City Loop frame stroller that you can pop the infant seat onto- fits in my back seat between the car seat and the front seat so would be great in an uber. I didn’t do a baseless car seat so I can’t help there but I did look into the Graco gomax which is a similar frame stroller but has a baseless car seat with it!

Bugaboo for full size stroller. Nuna Pipa Air RX for the car seat and add the Peg Perego City Loop to turn it into the same thing as a Doona. City Loop is a frame stroller that you can pop the car seat on and it’s amazing quality! There’s a stroller seat you can buy later so you can use it as a travel/ errand stroller.

Skip the Doona and get the Peg Perego City Loop- I love it!! I’m assuming you already have an infant seat. Your car seat just pops on and it’s exactly like a Doona. We’ve finished up with the baby phase for 3 kids .. to answer your specific questions: - travel system vs separate stuff? Travel system. Best middle-of-the-pack is Peg Perego. They hold their value well for resale and used ones are a good purchase. They’re also more compact than the American brands, sturdier than most, and not as pricey as the Euro-look stuff (Uppa, etc.) - not to buy — all the stuff that’s baby-purpose-specific .. baby blenders (use a normal blender), baby bottle warmers (use a pot with water) .. we bought a lot of it, used it a couple of times, and never touched it again in favour of the adult version. Also, muslin blankets, they’re not for our climate. - buy asap — baby Tylenol, reusable syringe, baby Advil, suppository Tylenol, baby thermometer, baby ear camera ($20 on Amazon), Penaten, baby shampoo .. the medical stuff occupies you for the first year as they go through colds and rashes (and more intense things like RSV and HFM) - helpful purchases - baby blankets/quilts appropriate for their size, those zip up baby pouch blanket things, Jolly Jumper, pack and play with an additional foam mattress. - try a few different teething toys once they get bigger .. WubbaNub was the one that stuck with all 3 of ours. People swear by Sophie the Giraffe. Etc.

Are you considering more than one kid? We initially had a hand me down peg perego system that we loved but it got damaged on a flight and we got reimbursed its original price. We chose the cybex over the uppababy as our replacement because both seats can hold up to 50lbs

Seconding that this is the best answer. It really depends on where you live (city vs suburbs). I live in a European capital city with great public transport and terrible driving conditions. We walk a lot everyday, so my expensive Peg Perego travel system has been incredibly useful and is able to stand up to whatever is thrown at it, whether it be hard cobblestones or bumpy countryside. The attachable bassinet was great when my baby was a newborn, and now the stroller is one of his favorite ways to spend a couple hours outside. Plus, we do need to drive sometimes, so the car seat has also been handy. But if I lived in the suburbs, I probably wouldn't have bought quite an expensive travel system, or I may have splurged on the car seat instead.

I had the evenflo travel system and didn’t like it, bought the peg Perego travel system and love it. But baby definitely travelled better in the evenflo and hates the upgrade.

Velika kolesa, stabilnost (gor/dol po pločniku), pralnost, kako hitro se zloži in na kako veliko, če gre v prtljažnik malega avta in kaj vse je zraven (lupinica, košara, športni del, torba,...) Imeli smo PegPerego, super zadovoljni. Imeli smo ga za 2 otroka. Po prvem smo ga dali na sevis v Mengeš da ga pogledajo in pripravijo za drugega.

Peg Perego za price/performance... uporabljen pri prvem otroku, nato na žalost posojen in ne uporabljen pri ta drugem. Sedajšni (no ni več v uporabi) je od Cybex pa je OK in je še vedno normalno uporaben, ampak glede zlaganja in sestavljanja je bil Peg Perego bolj praktičen tudi napram vozičkov ki so jih znanci uporabljali.

Peg Perego- made in Italy, not China, and had the best folding. They’re big in Europe and used to be sold under the mamas and papas name but split a few years ago which is why it’s not as known in the UK. The new bababing looks good too as the bassinet folds flat.

Ok kaj so must haves? - Čim bolj lahek. - Odpira in zapira se z eno roko!!! - Vse gre na okvir od vozička brez adapterjev (torej košara, športni del, in lupinica) - Kolesa primerna vajinemu kraju bivanja. - Košara spodaj za stvari je čim večja. - More se zložit tako, da gre v vajin avto brez da je treba kaj odmonirat / zmanjšat itd. - Voziček / lupina / športni del se obrneta v obe smeri - alternativno se obrnejo ročaji. - Bremze za eno nogo, ne na kolesih, kjer moreš zablokirat vsako kolo posbej - Voziček je okreten (naredi en krog z njim) Nice to haves: - Košara ima za dvigat vzglavje - Ima zračnike, velik baldahinček - Kolesa se zelo na hitro in lahko zataknejo, da voziš naravnost - Ročaj se lahko raztegne in podaljša - Ročaj ima kaka ušesa za torbo - Je uravnotežen (da ne pade, če daš gor težko torbo) Cena je irelevantna. Dražje ne pomeni boljše. Zadnje kar zbirata je estetika. Preveč kolegic imam, ki so si kupile voziček, ker je bil lep, a useless. AMA če še kaj rabita
