We have the Peg Perego Veloce which covers almost all this criteria. I have only used it once in snow and it seemed to do well, but it was only a couple of cm. I can't say how it will do in thicker snow. I love it and I am sooo happy with it. It is a less popular brand these days but I am super happy. We also got to avoid buying a bassinet because it lays flat for newborns from day 1 which was our selling feature because we have limited space.
I have the Peg Perego Veloce and Ioooove it! It is similar to the YPSI but a single. I absolutely love the one handed fold. The other great feature is it lays totally flat which was amazing because we didn't have to purchase a bassinet. Also, it has been doing a great job through snow. It also has adjustable handle bars. I wanted to give my feedback because I remember it was so hard to find Perego reviews on reddit.
The store we purchased from basically said 15 years ago they were incredibly popular in North America and then the trends swung in favour of Nuna and Uppa. All great strollers but I love my Peg Perego! And if you are a tall family they accommodate tall babies and parents very well IMO
I have this too and it’s amazing. Not sure why peg perego isn’t as popular here as in Europe (I’m sure has to do with social media blasting uppababy and Nuna as the best), so I also found minimal reviews on peg perego but went with my gut and bought it.
I’m not sure if they’re similar but I got the peg Perego veloce and it’s phenomenal. I used the ypsi bassinet when she was a newborn on the stroller and as her main floor bassinet in the living room on the home stand. I would just unclip it and the clip it to stroller for walks. Best investment for me. The stroller is awesome in the snow, suspension is great, and one hand fold and open is easy. Bonus it’s made in Italy and not China like most strollers. I liked it a million times better than the uppababy or nuns strollers personally.
Just a note: the Aer+ is a travel stroller, so while very lightweight, it has smaller wheels than most "full-size" strollers (e.g., Cruz v2), so will likely not handle snow or bumpy terrain as well. Also, the seat is not reversible, so think about whether that's a feature you'd want. Highly suggest trying a bunch in store to get a feel for what you'd feel comfortable folding and lugging around (the push too, but on showroom floors, I think everything pushes fairly well, so it's not very stringent test). Cruz v2 is a good option for all-day use, but is not that light (about 25.5 lbs). Also, there isn't really a good handle on it (when folded) to carry with one arm, so consider you may need to make multiple trips from the car up the stairs if you have groceries or something. Cybex's Balios S Lux 2 is another option; about the same weight and similar wheel size (and suspension) as the Cruz, but with a one-handed fold and the bottom of the seat has a carrying handle you can grab when its folded. The Ypsi and Veloce from Peg Perego have similar wheel sizes but are a little bit lighter (unsure how the suspension compares) and both also have handles you can carry them from when folded. If you think those might be too heavy, there's (what I consider) a whole different segment of lighter "hybrid" reversible-seat strollers: Nuna Triv Next, Bugaboo Dragonfly, Peg Perego Vivace, Cybex Mios, Joolz Hub2. Of course, the trade-off here is slightly smaller wheels, so likely not as great in snow.
Highly recommend the Peg Perego Veloce stroller for the amazing one-handed fold. Definitely a bit pricier, but is often on sale for $800. Suspension and wheels are also great for city living!
Car seat that clicks onto the stroller is great. Also our stroller came with a stand that the pram part clicks onto so we can use it as a second bassinet. We keep it in our living room and our baby naps there during the day. It’s nicer than keeping a whole buggy with wheels etc. taking over the living room. Also given our house is small, we got a buggy that folds down very small when not in use for easy storing.

I absolutely adore my Bob stroller. I’m not a fitness buff or anything, we just love it for the snowy and rocky terrain in our area. It’s so smooth and has actual rubber tires like a bike, unlike a lot of other strollers I’ve seen on the market. We are about to have baby #2 and for this time around I invested in a car seat attachment. I’m looking forward to taking baby #2 on walks with the Bob because the ride is just way smoother than with our Peg Perego with a bassinet. Just my 2 cents but it’s worth the hype IMO!
We’ve finished up with the baby phase for 3 kids .. to answer your specific questions: - travel system vs separate stuff? Travel system. Best middle-of-the-pack is Peg Perego. They hold their value well for resale and used ones are a good purchase. They’re also more compact than the American brands, sturdier than most, and not as pricey as the Euro-look stuff (Uppa, etc.) - not to buy — all the stuff that’s baby-purpose-specific .. baby blenders (use a normal blender), baby bottle warmers (use a pot with water) .. we bought a lot of it, used it a couple of times, and never touched it again in favour of the adult version. Also, muslin blankets, they’re not for our climate. - buy asap — baby Tylenol, reusable syringe, baby Advil, suppository Tylenol, baby thermometer, baby ear camera ($20 on Amazon), Penaten, baby shampoo .. the medical stuff occupies you for the first year as they go through colds and rashes (and more intense things like RSV and HFM) - helpful purchases - baby blankets/quilts appropriate for their size, those zip up baby pouch blanket things, Jolly Jumper, pack and play with an additional foam mattress. - try a few different teething toys once they get bigger .. WubbaNub was the one that stuck with all 3 of ours. People swear by Sophie the Giraffe. Etc.
Are you considering more than one kid? We initially had a hand me down peg perego system that we loved but it got damaged on a flight and we got reimbursed its original price. We chose the cybex over the uppababy as our replacement because both seats can hold up to 50lbs
Seconding that this is the best answer. It really depends on where you live (city vs suburbs). I live in a European capital city with great public transport and terrible driving conditions. We walk a lot everyday, so my expensive Peg Perego travel system has been incredibly useful and is able to stand up to whatever is thrown at it, whether it be hard cobblestones or bumpy countryside. The attachable bassinet was great when my baby was a newborn, and now the stroller is one of his favorite ways to spend a couple hours outside. Plus, we do need to drive sometimes, so the car seat has also been handy. But if I lived in the suburbs, I probably wouldn't have bought quite an expensive travel system, or I may have splurged on the car seat instead.
