I have a stroller problem, and currently have 5. Don’t be me. Uppababy vista v2 - love it for walking around our neighborhood, so smooth, great on grass, good on gravel, daily use. It’s just HUGE. I hate bringing it anywhere as it takes up my whole trunk and then the bassinet didn’t fit in the trunk and had to go on my back seat. Summer infant 3d lite - love it! Stays in my hatchback, great for traveling, lightweight, small foot print, comfy for toddler. It’s not totally flat so we got this one when babe was 6/7 month old. Not intuitive to fold. Baby jogger city mini - bought for $20 on Facebook marketplace for a month long trip. My husbands favorite stroller. Easy to fold, good steering, big sun canopy. I Hate the basket. I don’t like that you can’t adjust the handle. It stays in my husbands car. Chico bravo - got with our car seat, it’s fine. I only got it because the set was on clearance and was $250 for the set, vs $300 for the car seat. Easy folding and fits in my car. Phil & Ted Vibe - air filled tires. Easy steering. Good for jogging. Hate the break, we accidentally hit it all the time. Also complicated to fold. But comfy for babe and easy steering. Also huge when folded. So I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have 3! You do you.
I have had two prams, out of my two I preferred the older 3 wheel phill and Ted’s pram with the second seat attachment. However I look after my friend’s child a bit and she has a mountain buggy, it must be about 9yrs old now, on its third kid and is fantastic. She has put bigger tyres on it which makes it sit higher which is great if you’re taller. I now wish I had brought a 3 wheel mountain buggy stroller when I had my first child.
I had a Bob when I had one kiddo. Got a Phil and Ted double when I had my second
I have a Phil and teds and a mountain buggy duet! I keep the Phil and teds in the car for quick outings, and like if I only need a single it’s a single. The bottom seat is small but fine for a toddler to hop in/out or I stick the baby down there! Sometimes I flip it and have the baby lie flat to sleep and put the extra seat on top. I prefer the duet for big trips, it pushes like a dream, I use it around town. (I’m a Brit but in the US. I got my mum to bring me the Phil and teds as they don’t sell them here😂) both are second hand because we have so. Many. Buggies
Good to know. We already bought a second hand Phil&Teds when we just had the one as we live in a rural area and needed a pushchair that would go over rough terrain (and I love it for this). It came with the doubles kit and cone April I’ll have a 19 month age gap. My toddler is very average sized though so hopefully he’ll fit! For nursery runs and travel we have 2x BabyZen YoYos so I was planning on getting some connectors to make them a double.
I was broke as shit during my first pregnancy and I kept a really close eye on new listings on fb and tori. I was able to snag a great condition Phil and Teds stroller off of Tori for 100e. When I messaged her about buying it I said “I’ll take as is for 100e with no haggling”. She later said she accepted my offer because I was the only one that would commit to the purchase without seeing it and was no fuss. That stroller was fantastic and was really happy with it for years. I’m now pregnant again with my second and shopping around for a new one. I have a little more money than before and I’m looking at the Bugaboo fox 5 which is €€€. But i may still buy one second hand because why not
Phil and Ted's! Survived 5 kids and travels around the world. Apart from changing tires kept going strong. Also: quite big,so suitable until 5yrs, which came in handy when my middle couldn't walk for about 5 months due to an injury
I have a Phil & Ted’s double stroller. Idk if they make them anymore but I love mine
21 years ago we had a Phil and Ted’s stroller that I LOVED! As easy to maneuver as a single but with 2 kids
